I hope all of you guys are doing fine.  Today, I wanted to review an eyeliner, I wouldn’t really give my opinion on an eyeliner, but this one is worth a review. Normally, I don’t buy colorful eyeliners, but my new favorite thing is to apply a colorful, bright eyeliner above my usual liquid black cat eyeliner. I usually don’t find drugstore eyeliners to be super pigmented or to have a long-lasting stay, so I stay away from them, but this one, I only regret not buying more in different shades.

Packaging:

The eyeliner is coated in a boring silver color, not much of a stunner. But the good part is that is it has a clear cap, so you can actually see what the color on the tip looks like.

Texture:  The L’Oreal Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner is incredibly smooth, as it glides on the skin effortlessly. The feel of it is not creamy, so if you want to blend it to soften the line or smoke it out, this product will not do it.

Performance:  Honestly, I LOVE this eyeliner, there is really not one thing that I can complain about. I have been using this product for a full week now, and I can say this eyeliner will last me a long time, as it doesn’t need to be sharpened two times per use. In the pigmentation department, this pencil is a 10/10, surprisingly so pigmented for a drugstore product. The L’Oreal Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner has a magnificent staying power, I haven’t tried wearing it for 16 hours as written on their website, but it did last me 14 hours without moving. My eyes are sensitive and tend to water easily, so it gets a little difficult to find eyeliners that would stay put like a tattoo without looking blotchy or leaked. Along with the 101 problems my eyes have, another one is that I have hooded eyes, so sometimes what I have on my eyelid, whether it be eyeliners, liquid or pencil, or even eyeshadow, transfers to my crease. However, with this little piece of gem, everything stays exactly where it belongs. For only $8.99 this pencil stands up right next to the infamous 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil by Urban Decay, and not to forget the Chromographic Pencil by MAC.

The L’Oreal Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner is an intense eyeliner, so taking it off is a little hassle. I end up washing my face twice with cleanser to take every little glitter particle off. With makeup remover wipes, I have no luck, the eyeliner just spreads everywhere, but if you like a glittery face then no problem for you.

Also, I heard many people complain that the tip of the eyeliner keeps falling off when sharpening or the pencil sharpens incorrectly. Well, I have sharpened this pencil multiple times and I didn’t face such issues, I guess you need a “sharp” sharpener (sharp blade).

Overall, I repeatedly said “I love this product,” which I truly do. It excels in the every category. The other colors in this line are even more beautiful, like Truly Teal, Colbat Blue (OMG so beautiful), and Highlighter (definitely my next buy). I think everyone should give this a try, if you can get your hands on it.
