Loreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo Review

L’OREAL NUTRI GLOSS Mirror Shine Shampoo (review)

: Loreal-nutri-gloss-shampoo

L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo was launched a few months back in India. It is most suited for normal or dry hair. But it worked with my oily hair too, maybe because I am using it in winter… The company claims to induce ‘mirror shine’ and ‘cashmere touch’. Priced at 72 INR for 100 ml, the L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo is an economic choice as a good hair-care product.
The product claims to contain a newly innovated formula of ‘protein + pearl’ to provide nourishment and shine. Their claim is that – “it provides the hair fibre with balanced nourishment, without weighing hair down” and “it acts as a real shine concentrate on your hair”.

The product profile goes like this –

  • Manufactured and marketed – by L’Oreal India Pvt. Ltd.
  • Key ingredients are – protein and pearl
  • Net quantity – 100 ml
  • Maximum retail price – 72 INR

Loreal nutri gloss shampoo

From personal experience, I will say that these claims come more or less true. The hair is shinier than before, and the texture is smoother too. However, I have oily hair, and it is for normal or dull hair. So it is weighing my hair down to some extent. The major setback I experienced with L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo is with my dandruff problem. Sadly, it seemed to aggravate the condition to some extent. Other than that, it is a good shampoo. I did not need separate conditioning and there were not much tangles formed too. The hair tends to get a little fizzy if it is blow dried without application of any conditioner. Still, it makes my hair feel clean, shiny and healthy, and therefore it is worth buying.

Things to be happy about –

  • L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo makes the hair really shiny
  • L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo makes the hair a little softer too
  • The price of L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo is pretty low
  • L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo does not take a lot of shampoo to was the hair
  • L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo does not make the hair fizzy if dried naturally
  • The fragrance of L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo is mild and sweet

Things to lament about –

  • L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo is not friendly towards dandruff prone scalp
  • The hair gets fizzy if blow dried after washing with L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo
  • If the hair is dry, then extra conditioning is needed after washing the hair with L’Oreal Nutri Gloss Mirror Shine Shampoo.

Final verdict – more or less, I am happy, and will recommend it to people with normal hair type.
Overall rating – :-* :-* :-* + 0.5

    1. I even love the Dove shampoos. Currently using the blue one for dry damaged hair.
I have used these Loreal ones before but did not suit me. However, their salon range is amazing. I have used the one for coloured hair…..very good one.

  5. I am toh very scared of loreal shampoos but I want to try their salon range–loads of good reviews about them    Mirro shine is funy name 😆 😆 😆 😆

  6. Dove conditioner for dry hair is really good! it makes hair really soft and has a nice fragrance too. I have L’oreal’s salon range Force Vector shampoo and conditioner. It makes my hair unbelievably silky and smooth. But its a bit expensive for daily use so its best to reserve it for special occasions :snicker:
