My Experience with L’Oreal Paris 107 Who’s The Boss Cream Infallible Mega Gloss:

This lip gloss comes in a regular transparent gloss packaging. The smart, shiny, black cap adds to the simple gorgeousness of the packaging. The applicator sponge is pretty unique in shape, one dip is enough to cover the lips as the sponge has a reservoir kind of a thing in the middle where the color gets stored. The tip of the sponge is pointed, hence it is easy to reach the corners and give definition to the Cupid’s bow. Overall, the lip gloss has a smart and classy packaging.

The texture of this lip gloss is more like a lip gel, in my opinion. The good thing about this gloss is that it’s absolutely non sticky and yet gives a good dose of moisture to the lips. The pigmentation is medium to buildable, but I generally like to put on a single swipe as I do not like that heavy, uncomfortable feel on the lips. This shade is pretty pigmented, but if you still want full coverage and longer stay, then go for a lip liner beneath.

The shade “Who’s The Boss” is a lovely berry color, which I really like on my skin tone. I believe any skin tone will be able to rock such a gorgeous shade. It goes on sheer in the first swipe, and you need to go over one more time to let the real color pop. Conventionally, it might seem to be a fall/autumn shade, but there are no rules as far as makeup is concerned, like really! Other than “Alerte Rouge” and “I Got The Power,” I find this gloss to be beautiful and appealing.

The staying power depends on the food/fluid intake and also on the base on which the gloss is applied. Without any base, it stays on my lips for 2-3 hours and after that it starts to fade, reapplication thereafter is a must. It does not leave any cheap stain behind, which is a pro for me. With a lip liner beneath, the staying power of the lip gloss can be extended up to 5 hours maximum. As I am not a big fan of glosses, I am not too excited about these, but if you love wearing glosses, do try this range at the store; they have various finishes like cream, matte, dazzle, etc.
