Skin-tone: Fair to medium

L’Oreal has come up with some new glosses in the Infallible range and we have already reviewed a few. They have different finishes so I picked up a few from all the finishes. The one that I am reviewing right now is the lightest shade of all. Since, it is summer-time I thought I would try a subtle peachy one. So here is the review for you guys!

Directions:
• Fill – Fill the applicator with the Mega Gloss Infallible Texture.
• Apply – Apply the lip gloss firstly onto the lower lip, from the centre to the corners. Repeat this on your upper lip, paying extra attention to your cupids bow. This way you will achieve a perfectly shaded effect, leaving the middle of your lips looking more intense and shinier in colour.
• Layer – For an even glossier effect, apply Infallible Lip Top Coat.
My Experience with L’Oreal Paris 109 Fight For It Cream Infallible Mega Gloss:
Packaging: The Infallible Mega Gloss looks very classy and luxurious. The packaging totally screams L’Oreal as it looks really glamorous with those beautiful shades peeking through. The tubes of the lip glosses are transparent which lets us see the colour if we own a few. The glosses are handy hence can be easily carried around in clutch/handbag. The applicator has a tilt shape which ensures proper application giving my lips a proper shape. So no issues with the packaging!
Shade: The shade “Fight for it” is a subtle peach shade which looks extremely beautiful on the lips. It is a perfect mixture of gloss and colour. My lips dazzle in glossy shine with a good colour pay-off. The shade is very feminine, subtle and great for day-time wear. It adds a very feminine touch to the entire make-up look. It is a perfect peach gloss which is a great option for the summer days. But the shade being light won’t cover pigmented lips completely. But, it will compliment almost all Indian skin-tones as it won’t wash any complexion out. A pretty shade for romantic dates.
Consistency and finish: The consistency is thick yet buttery and creamy. It stays true to its claims. A thick layer gets applied to my lips smoothly, revealing the beautiful finish and the colour. It is a bit thick so you need to keep your hair away from it. The creamy texture makes my lips appear fuller. But the thickness does not moisturise the chapped lips completely although it does give a lot of hydration till the time it stays. It might settle a bit in fine lines since the colour is light but that isn’t really visible.
Staying power: The gloss stays for a really average time, probably just 3 hours. I had expected it to stay longer since the price is higher than the glosses of some other brands. But after a meal, it gets ripped off partially displaying the chapped portions of my lips. So a little disappointing when it comes to the staying power, but at the end of the day, they are glosses.

• Expensive.
• Very average staying power.
• Comes off after a meal.
• Becomes sticky once it is partially off.
• Won’t cover pigmented lips.

Yes if you like L’Oreal stuff then go for it! I have 5 of these so won’t pick anymore up since I apply glosses very occasionally. But I think we can get glosses with same benefits at lower prices!
Conclusion: Good quality glosses, stunning finish but over-priced!
