I cannot express in words how it feels to be pampered with gifts like these, courtesy IMBB. I will start with my most favourite product from the ones IMBB bought for me, the gel liner from L’Oreal. I have never used a gel liner before, hence I lack eyeliner skills and I am comfortable with pencils. But I have been more comfortable drawing lines with this, ever since I started using this. Let us move ahead to the review.

My Take on L’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Profound Black Gel Intenza Eyeliner

I was really glad to have picked L’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Profound Black Gel Intenza Eyeliner on behalf of IMBB. I read the reviews of the other shades on IMBB and was very keen on trying one. I always felt that gel liners would not be my cup of tea, since I have a super unsteady hand. But, with practice I have learnt to draw identical lines.

The gel liner came in a box along with a brush. The box carried all the necessary details like the ingredients, claims and the method of use. It comes in a little glass pot that is easy to carry around. I found the brush good enough for my use and the bristles are good and firm too. I was able to draw thin lines with it. There has been no bristle fall-out so far and I have washed it twice.

Profound black is a deep black colour that is well pigmented. Two swipes are required for the complete color to show and the intensity can be easily built. Application is not much of a problem but I did require a little more time than I need with pencils. The 36 hours claim is way too far-fetched, but on the other hand it does not budge once it sets. It pretty much stayed for a whole day when I wore it, say about 8-9 hours. I did not notice any chipping or fading at the end of the day either. It is completely smudge-proof and water-proof too. I highly doubt if it is waterline-safe. I have not tried it either owing to my sensitive eyes. But I have heard that gel liners are probably not meant for the waterline. It gives a gorgeous matte-black and thick lines can be drawn with ease for the drama. On the darker side, it is expensive compared to many gel liners out there. But, I guess it is sure worth a try.

• Travel-friendly.
• Lovely pigmentation.
• Gives a matte-black finish.
• The brush is also good and convenient to use.
• Does not budge once it sets.
• Completely smudge and water-proof.
• Does not chip or flake.
• Lasting power is very good (maybe not 36hrs!)
• Thick and thin lines can be achieved.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Profound Black Gel Intenza Eyeliner

• 36hr claim may be exaggerated. (Who’d wear it for that long?!)
• Expensive. (Not a con for me, Thank you IMBB <3)

Definitely yes for both! I would try L’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Diamond Black Gel Intenza Eyeliner next but I do not think I will be able to finish this pot anytime soon.
