L’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Royal Blue Gel Intenza Eyeliner Review

Anyway, back to the review. I’m here with my last one for this range. Was this eyeliner worth it like L’Oréal’s caption itself? Read on to know 😀

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Royal Blue Gel Intenza Eyeliner :

Brush – The brush is useless! It doesn’t hold up much of the product so I’ve to keep on dipping it into the jar to get a good colour pay-off. It also doesn’t help in creating different styles. So, you’ll need to buy a new brush for proper application especially if you want thin lines.

Pigmentation – It’s a beautiful blue, but not an electric blue if that’s what you’re looking for. Royal blue compliments the eyes and looks beautiful when applied. Although, I will agree I wish Sapphire Blue looked like how Royal Blue looks in daylight. Anyway, pigmentation and colour pay-off is great, like all the others. You can create different looks thanks to the colour, too. If you’re looking for blue eyeliners, shortlist this one!

Staying Power – The gel liner is amazing when it comes to the smudge-proof claim. It dries quickly and stays smudge-proof for a long, long time. On the eyelids, it does not budge at all after it dries but I can’t say the same for the lower lash line. It starts to smudge after 3-4 hours and that’s why applying this gel eyeliner on the eyelids is better. It also might sting sensitive eyes, so always better to apply on the lower lash line than the waterline.

Texture – The eyeliner glides on like a dream! The texture is soft & creamy but as soon as it touches the eyelids, it dries quickly despite the texture (this means there’s no room for error while applying!).

Strengths of L’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Royal Blue Gel Intenza Eyeliner :

• Smudge-proof for a good 4-6 hours.
• Dries quickly.
• Dreamy creamy texture.
• Mesmerizing color pay-off.
• Helps in creating different kinds of looks.
• A little goes a long way.
• 3 years long shelf life.
• Comes off easily with makeup remover.

Flaws ofL’Oreal Paris 36H Super Liner Royal Blue Gel Intenza Eyeliner :

• 36 hours long claim not true.
• Might sting sensitive eyes.
• Colour is not an electric blue, it’s a darker version.
• Not suitable for waterline, better to apply on the lower lash line.
• Expensive.
• Need to buy a new brush for different styles of liner.

Conclusion :
It’s one of those great blue eyeliners. The colour pay-off is good, and because it’s a gel liner it will last long. It’s not an electric blue but is a darker version of it. Some people won’t like that fact, so it’s always better to test it at the counter before buying 🙂
