Today I’m reviewing a lip gloss. Even though I’m not a huge fan of lip glosses, I still love collecting them and whenever I see something different, I just can’t resist myself from buying it. LOL. So is the story of this gloss I’m reviewing. It’s Loreal Paris 8HR Infallible Le Gloss in 464 Dazzle Me. Read onto find more about it.

My take on Loreal Paris 8HR Infallible Le Gloss in 464 Dazzle Me:
The lip gloss comes in a very cute and girly packaging. The bottle/ tube is cylindrical and slender. It has a silver cap that looks absolutely styilish. All in all, very sturdy and travel friendly. The applicator brush is pear shaped (like most Loreal Paris lip glosses) and makes the application of the gloss precise and smooth.
The shade “Dazzle me” is a bright, fuchsia pink with shimmer particles in it. The shade looks totally glamorous and gives the lips a fuller look. The moment I apply it on my lips, it gives a very cool and slightly tingling sensation. It glides onto lips very smoothly and does not settle into fine lines on lips. The texture is creamy and glossy. The color of the gloss looks slightly different on lips than how it looks in the tube. It looks like a shimmery, and very bright pink on lips. And It smells really pleasant too. Now coming to the staying power of the gloss. I’d say it’s okayish. It definitely does not stay on lips for 8 hours like it claims. Rather it stays on for around 3-3.5 hours and then the shade starts fading, leaving shimmer particles on lips (which I’m kind of disgusted with). But the pigmentation is so, so great. Maximum, you need two swipes of the gloss and it imparts a very bright fuchsia pink color on the lips. All in all, a very good textured gloss with great pigmentation but average staying power.

Cons of Loreal Paris 8HR Infallible Le Gloss in 464 Dazzle Me:
• Kind of overpriced for a gloss
• Not as long lasting as it claims to be
• It would have been a great deal better sans the shimmer particles..
Will I repurchase it/ do I recommend Loreal Paris 8HR Infallible Le Gloss in 464 Dazzle Me?
I don’t think I’ll repurchase this and I don’t recommend it to anybody unless you really like shimmery lip glosses.

Packaging is super tempting, but shimmers!
yeah, i’m not too comfortable with shimmer either. but a little sparkle now and then ain’t bad. Hehehe 😀 😀
I am yet to try shimmery gloss *scared*
oh, then go in for this one or the shimmer glosses by Maybelline (i dont know what exactly they’re called) 🙂
