I recently picked up a few products from the L’Oreal Botanicals Coriander range. I have already reviewed the shampoo and today’s review is on L’Oreal Botanicals Coriander Strength Cure Strength Potion. Read on to know more.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Coriander Strength Source Strength Potion:
The product comes in a brown bottle similar to the other products from this range. It has a black screw cap with a pump. The product comes without any seal or outer packaging. There is some basic information on the bottle, but other than that for usage and other details, you need to look up to the website. The plastic bottle feels of a good quality and it is non-breakable. The cap is a screw cap and closes tight and that makes sure there is no leakage. The pump has a long filler that picks up the product effectively even from the end of the bottle. The filler is a bit cloudy and you can hardly see the content in it. I usually use one pump of the potion.
The potion is milky white in color. It has a runny consistency, but it’s easy to use. I am not so fond of the scent and as it is a leave-in potion, I wish L’Oreal had added some extra fragrance to keep that scent lingering throughout the day. The smell hardly stays on the hair and fades away pretty quickly. The product has to be applied into the lengths of the hair. There is no mention if it has to be used on wet or dry hair and so I use it both ways and never had an issue as such.
The product is like water and can be easily applied onto the hair without any issue. The product dries immediately and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. This potion doesn’t weigh down the hair and retains the natural texture of the hair. It does eliminate frizz and tangles. The potion is moisturizing and it does add nourishment to the hair. It adds a light shine to the hair and makes it very soft and smooth.
It makes my hair easily manageable and this makes combing easier, but when applied onto wet hair, the tangles do exist, so I have started using it on dry hair when I have severe tangles. The product results don’t last long and reapplication is necessary. The product claims to strengthen hair, but I do not see any difference. The product doesn’t work on split ends either. Overall, the product makes my hair alive again, but it’s not a magical potion that would work miracle on my hair.

It is not a miracle potion, just a regular serum, and so not a must-have product.
