Now that we are done with the Infallible Mega Gloss range by L’Oreal, let’s hop on to the lip liners from this range. There are 5 shades in the range and I got 4 of them because the N*de shade has already been reviewed. Read on to know my thoughts of the shade Brown.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Brown 6HR Infallible Neverfail Lipliner:
The lip liner comes in a twist-up packaging; thankfully it twists back. The body is color coded and made of plastic with the shade name and other details mentioned on the body in silver fonts. It comes with an in-built tip sharpener, which comes in handy if you like sharp tip for doing a precise outline. Unlike most lip liners with twist-up mechanism, this one doesn’t break easily; definitely with extra pressure it will break but it is not that fragile.
The texture of the lip liner is quite creamy and it applies without any tugging or pulling. If you have dry chapped lips, exfoliation is definitely recommended. The pigmentation is good; one swipe gives the desired results. Due to the creaminess of the lip liner it gets used up super fast. Considering the price and the quantity, I would not really call it a wise purchase.
The shade is true to the name. It is a proper brown with warm undertones. It is quite a flattering brown and not the usual dull boring one. It is definitely not an everyday wear but you see there are no rules to makeup; if you like wearing browns, go for it. I see myself wearing it with colored eyeliners and coral toned blushes.
The staying power ranges from 3-4 hours depending on the food/fluid intake. It is definitely not going to stay for 6 hours. The area of concern is the dryness that follows if you wear it alone like a lip color. After an hour or so the lips start feeling stretched and parched which is not at all comfortable; applying a lip balm is must. It does not feather or peel but it starts fading unevenly from the centre of the lips.
Overall, I am not impressed with this considering all the aspects of texture, price, shade range and staying power. The shade is fine but then it is not unique.
Pros of L’Oreal Paris Brown 6HR Infallible Neverfail Lipliner:

• Smooth application (on exfoliated lips)
• Good pigmentation.
• Wearable shade.
• No funny smell.
• Tip does not break off like most twist-up liners.
Cons of L’Oreal Paris Brown 6HR Infallible Neverfail Lipliner:
• Expensive for the quantity.
• Drying on lips.
• Gets used up very fast.
• Not forgiving on dry parched lips.
• Staying power could have been better.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Paris Brown 6HR Infallible Neverfail Lipliner?
Repurchase – no.
Recommend – if you like the twist up mechanism and do not mind spending on a lip liner, go for it. I would prefer the Colorbar Lip Definer Chocolate over it, at any given day.
