The product I am reviewing today is another lip product. Any guesses, there? Oh! It’s the L’Oreal Paris Caresse Shine Lip color in the shade ‘603 Milady’. I bought this shade just 3 days back along with two other shades and I’ve been wearing this daily ever since. It’s a very girly mauve shade. And the best part is, it can be worn in the day time and night; in winters and summers because it’s such a pretty, almost neutral shade.

Product Description: Dazzling shine, Fresh moisture, light weight lip color. The first lip colour to fuse with your lips. Rich, refined lips yet a barely-there lip sensation. The unique formula comprised of 30% water and 60% oil provides an exceptionally high level of moisture, allowing for 6hr hydration.Concentrated soluble colour pigments create a subtle wet look with a weightless feeling on lips.

Ingredients: Aqua, water, octadodecanol, Dimethicone, ethyl cellulose, phenoxyethanol, hydroxypropyl Guar, Alumina, Silica, Linalool, Calcium aluminum borosilicate, benzyl alcohol, Sucrose cocoate, SLS, Hydroxy citronellal, Citronellol, Benzyl alcohol, Parfum/Fragrance.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris Caresse Shine Lip Color in 603 Milady:

I bought this lip stain/lip gloss in 3 shades and I must say this one is my most favorite of them all. It’s a very pretty shade, not too pink, not too mauve, somewhere in the middle. It’s like if pink and mauve had a baby, it would somewhat look like this shade ‘Milady’ LOL. On a more serious note, I think it’s one shade that would suit most skin tones and women of all ages would like.

Starting with the packaging, it comes in a black carton and the tube is gold in color (and trust me it was getting impossible for me to take its picture) and has a little see through square in the middle where you can see the color of the lip product. It’s very classy and chic. The applicator brush is very soft and smooth and helps in easy application of the lip color. Also it’s got a very slender packaging so it’s travel friendly. Moreover, it can even fit into my jeans’ pocket. Whee 😀

Coming to the lip color, it’s really so moisturizing that I hardly feel the need to apply a lip balm/ chapstick before applying this lip stain. The color payoff is pretty awesome and all it takes is 2-3 swipes to get the actual color. The staying power is what is the best thing, it lasts for around 6-8 hours easily on me. Though the gloss/shine goes off after 2 hours, the stain still remains there which looks really pretty. It also has a scent, which is not overpowering at all. When I apply it on my lips, I can feel a very fresh, dewy sensation (just like it’s specified on the carton) on my lips. Also, not boasting, but I did get a couple compliments for my lip shade when I wore it! Heheh!

Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a lip stain which also has a shine to it and is pinky mauve in color, I’d say you go in for this lip color. It’s totally awesome!

• Some people might not like its scent
