Today, I am going to review L’Oreal Infallible Eye shadow in the shade “Endless Chocolat.”

Color:

Endless Chocolat is a lovely, deep warm chocolate brown color with golden shimmer in it. It is a smoky brown type of color. It doesn’t have bronze or copper undertones. Shimmer looks wonderful in this color. It gives a beautiful metallic sheen to the color. Shimmer is not at all over the top or tacky and increases the beauty of this color. This color can be easily used as an overall lid color or in the crease. It can be applied at day time as well. This color would complement any eye color.

Packaging:

Packaging is very good. It is in a small transparent pot with a twist off lid. There’s a black colored pan inside the pot as well, so that the eye shadow powder doesn’t spread to the inside of the lid, as a result, even being powdery, this eye shadow doesn’t create a mess. This pan keeps the product pressed down within the pot. The packaging is quite classy. The packaging definitely seems to be travel friendly.

Pigmentation:

It is one of the most pigmented eye shadows I have. A single swipe and I get the richest chocolate brown color. It is totally opaque and has metallic finish.

Texture:

The eye shadow is loose, but comes pressed in the pot. This eye shadow is buttery smooth, silky and has a creamy texture. It applies very evenly and blends beautifully. The shimmer is not at all chunky and is very fine. There is absolutely no fall out.

Staying Power:

I have applied this eye shadow with MAC Paint Pot as a base, and it stayed on my oily eyelids for entire day. There was no creasing or fall out. Shimmer didn’t spread all over my lid or face. When applied without a base, it was still there on my eyelids even after 6 hours without any creasing and fall out. It can be removed with both oil based and water based makeup removers.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Infallible Eyeshadow – Endless Chocolat:

I love this eye shadow. The color is very pretty and the shimmer looks even prettier. I can wear this every day.  I personally feel this eye shadow applies best with fingers. Brush doesn’t pack the powder properly. I dip my finger in the pot and then swipe it over my lid. It applies beautifully and evenly on my lids. Then, a blending brush can be used to blend it in the crease. This eye shadow can be applied lightly and can be built up as well. It starts out as a powder but the end result is a smooth and creamy finish. It can be applied as an eyeliner too. It can be applied without a primer also, but the primer intensifies the color even more.

I don’t think it is going to finish soon. It will take forever to finish this eye shadow because of the quantity and only a little shadow is required for both eyes. I think this is one of the best eye shadow formulas I have ever used.

• Pricey.

Definitely. I am thinking about getting other colors in this range. The staying power, texture, color, pigmentation, everything is just awesome.
