Today, I’m going to review L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Nutri Shine in Old Rose. I bought this lipstick this year only, on the 19th of January, it was my friend’s sagan ceremony. I came back from work and was tired and short of time, so rushed to the parlour for a hair wash and setting. On my way back from the parlour, I realized that I decided to wear a pink lip color with my outfit for the evening, but didn’t get time to buy one. Then, I rushed to Shopper’s Stop.  I made up my mind in the mean time to buy L’Oreal Glam Shine 6h.  At the counter I tried, but found them to be very shimmery and the SA suggested me to try a lipstick from the “Nutri Shine” range as it would give a sheer coverage with glossy finish and hydrate my dry lips at the same time. I was running out of time, so without much thinking, I picked “Old Rose” as I found it to be the most natural-looking pink shade among the other pinks from this range.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Nutri Shine Lipstick in Old Rose:

It’s a very soft pink shade with a slight tone of peach and has got subtle gold and blue shimmer particles.  It gives a little more than sheer coverage to my lips. As winters are here, I wear this lipstick most of the time while going out because of the fresh, natural, and hydrated look it gives to my lips.

I don’t need to put on a lip balm before applying.  It is neither too shimmery nor too glossy, just a perfect blend of both.  It doesn’t settle into the fine lines and stays on my lips for around 1-1/2 to 2 hours without any meals in between.

If swiped 4-5 times, it tends to bleed and the staying power exceeds to 2 to 2-1/2 hours. It wears off evenly and within an hour after that, my lips start drying out. Its packaging is very attractive and travel friendly.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Nutri Shine Lipstick in Old Rose:

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Nutri Shine Lipstick in Old Rose:

• Low staying power.
• Swiping 4-5 times, makes it bleed.
• Within an hour of fading away, my lips feel dry.
• May not suit all skin tones.
• May not give good coverage to pigmented lips.
