How are you doing today? I am back again to share one more gorgeous shade from L’Oreal Le Matte Lip Pens range which is my favorite one too! Moreover, after my love for bright reds and pinks, I find myself liking peachy pink lip colors as well. She’s So Matte can be my MLBB shade and I find myself wearing it often these days! So, let’s read more about it!

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Color Riche She’s So Matte Le Matte Lip Pen:

The lip pen comes in a retractable pen packaging with a safety cap. It does have very L’Oreal kind of smell which is fine to me. Overall, I find it quite convenient to use and safe for travel purpose! Coming over to the shade, “She’s so matte”, it is a subtle, shimmer free, rosy brown shade; more or less similar to our natural lip color. It simply compliments my skin tone without brightening or making it darker. I find it to be a subtle and wearable rosy brown shade on my pale skin. I am sure it will suit a variety of pale, light and medium skin tones.

Talking about the texture, it is matte in nature yet lightweight and non-drying on my lips. I like the formula of this particular shade which simply glides on like silk on my dry – normal lips and almost adheres on lips like second skin with no tugging or pulling or settling into my lip lines. Being a matte shade, it is impressive to see that it does not highlight or settle into lip lines and/or dry flakes on our lips.

However, I do see a possibility of getting slightly uneven finish on dry – flaky lips, but it mostly forgives slight dryness on our lips smartly. It gives a flawless finish on perfectly scrubbed and moisturized lips which is beyond description. Even I haven’t seen it settling into my lip lines or minor dry flakes so far. Moreover, being a subtle, lighter shade it does give medium coverage to my lips with 2-3 swipes without looking cakey at all; in fact one cannot figure out the difference between this lip color and our natural lip color. Impressive, huh!

I find myself wearing this shade more often these days as it goes well with all desi and videsi summery outfits. I am sure it will suit beauties with light-medium pigmented lips. It has decent wear time of 4-5 hours on my lips depending upon my meal time and water/tea breaks in between. Sometimes it stays for as long as 6 hours with no stain behind. I did not find it very hydrating on lips, but it did not accentuate dryness either! I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Personally, I am getting it again & again, undoubtedly!

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche She’s So Matte Le Matte Lip Pen:

• A lightweight, matte finish, rosy brown lip pen which will compliment variety of skin tones
• It gives enough color pay off to conceal slightly pigmented lips
• It does not look cakey or flaky with multiple swipes
• It has a silky texture which glides like butter on my normal – dry lips
• It can be a perfect MLBB shade for many skin tones
• It does not aggravate lip issues
• It stays put for good 4-6 hours depending upon person to person
• It does not settle into lip lines or cling to dry, flaky lips
• Quite user friendly and travel friendly

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche She’s So Matte Le Matte Lip Pen:

• It might be tricky for ageing beauties since matte shades tend to highlight lip lines after a while

Well scrubbed, prepped up lips will definitely help to avoid this concern. I am head over heels with this rosy brown lip pen and want it in my vanity for ever. I have to get it again and again!
