Hello,
L’Oreal has been my favorite brand especially for lipsticks. The price may be a little steep but they’re just amazing. I went gaga over their mat extraordinaire lipsticks. There is only one L’Oreal counter in my city and they did not have the shade Liya which I desperately wanted. So I ordered online, but they delivered Doutzen instead. Well, I liked this one too but let’s hear more.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Doutzen’s Pink Color Riche Collection Exclusive Pinks:

Packaging: There is actually nothing fancy with the packaging yet it looks classy. The matte black case with the respective signatures with gold accents is a treat to the eyes. It is functional and travel-friendly. There are color coded stickers which makes identification simpler, in case you have more than one. The shape of the bullet is super and works well on my lips.

Shade: Doutzen is a bright blue based fuchsia pink. It is not that neon-ish or anything. It brightens up your face. It has very fine pink micro-shimmers which is not exactly visible but adds to the sheen. It’ll suit fair to medium tones well.

Texture and Pigmentation: The texture is something that I adore more than the color. It is so soft and smooth. Glides on lips like dream. It settles into powder matte finish yet feels creamy. It clings to dry patches so lips need to be prepped. However I was expecting something more in case of pigmentation for the price. It has average pigmentation that can be built to the desired level. I don’t think the lighter shades would cover lip pigmentation.

Lasting Power: Lasting power is good. Stays for about 5+ hours and fades from corners with meals and sipping water. After the color fades it leaves behind a nice tint which looks pretty. The stain is not difficult to get off and comes with any makeup remover. Matte lipsticks dry out my lips but not in the case of this one. Texture wise it is unmatchable.
