L’Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Conditioner Review

Hello everyone!
L’Oreal has released a new range of hair care products called Extraordinary Clay. These products boast about being silicone free and filled with three different kinds of refined clay. Today I will be reviewing the Extraordinary Clay Conditioner.

L’Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Conditioner Review

Price: €1.85 for 200 ml

Product Description:
72 hours of purified roots and hydrated ends
Deeply purified roots, hydrated feeling ends. For perfectly balanced hair.
THE SCIENCE OF OILY ROOTS AND DRY ENDS
Oil produced from the scalp can build up causing the roots to become visibly greasy, weighing down the hair.
Over-washing to combat this problem can strip the fibre leaving it dry. This results in a vicious cycle of washing.
What if you could have hair that was cared for at both ends?

THE SECRET OF CLAY FOR 72 HOURS OF PURE ROOTS AND HYDRATED ENDS.
For the first time, L’Oréal Paris Laboratories have combined 3 REFINED CLAYS to create its first re-balancing range revealing perfectly balanced hair.

details

• Scalp feels deeply purified for 72 hours with freshness and light, lifted roots.
• Dry hair feels hydrated right to the ends for fluid, free-flowing lengths.
• Revitalises the hair with softness, shine and bounce.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Conditioner:

The packaging is like that of any other L’Oreal conditioner. It comes in a plastic container with a flip-top cap. The color of the packaging is turquoise and very catchy. My husband saw it in the shower cubicle and was tempted to use it. The packaging is also very sturdy and travel safe.

bottle

The consistency of the product is very thick. It’s very creamy and spreads well. The fragrance is a little different and reminds me of sea or beach. It’s difficult to explain the fragrance but I love it; it is mild and doesn’t last more than an hour.

cap

I need less than coin-sized amount for my medium-length hair. Massaging the product on the tips and the lower half of my hair leaves my hair incredibly soft. I use conditioner every time I wash my hair and using this makes a huge difference. My hair looks more tamed and feels soft.
The conditioner is easily washed off with warm water. The usage of this product didn’t cause any kind of itchiness or increase in hair loss. I have a sensitive scalp and was fine using this product.

swatch

The only negative thing is that the consistency is pretty tick and I tend to squeeze the bottle little hard. This results in a big lump of product on your palm. You can’t even use so much nor put it back into the bottle.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Conditioner:

• Sturdy packaging.
• Little goes a long way.
• Mild fragrance.
• Leaves the hair soft, smooth and clean.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Re-Balancing Conditioner:

• Consistency is pretty thick and the product dispensed by squeezing can be little more than required.

IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
