My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Express Scalp Refresher:

Scalp Refresher comes in a cute teal color travel-friendly plastic bottle with long nozzle, which has a small dispenser hole and due to its small surface, it provides precise application only on the scalp. You have to directly apply it on the roots of your hair and then, gently massage it for few minutes and comb your hair normally. It is quite easy to handle the application on the scalp without any mess.

L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Express Scalp Refresher Review Standing

This refresher has aqua blue color with gel like consistency, that glides so easily on scalp. It actually feels like sanitizer that gets disappeared with few massages and totally gets absorbed into the scalp without any stickiness. I really love the way it works and it feels super light too. Now, as a refresher, it has beautiful fresh smell that lasts quite for a good time on the scalp and helps to reduce the smell of sebum.

L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Express Scalp Refresher Review Nozzle Side

Like their claims, it does provide an amazing cooling or icy sensation to the hair, that feels so refreshing and calms down all the stress. It is a perfect product after a long tired day and it totally provides great soothing effect. This cooling sensation lasts for few hours and then, it starts to disappear. I don’t know whether it is 7 degree cooler or not, but definitely feels super relaxing. I never tried a product like this earlier.

Now, I mostly prefer to use it on my 2nd day hair and as I have oily limp hair, it is a useful product to me. It genuinely helps to reduce the oil from the scalp and makes it grease-free. But, it can’t reduce them 100%. I mean, it can’t act like a dry shampoo, but a nice product which makes hair oil-free to a good extent and keeps it fresh for 1 day. Later, I have to reapply it.

L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Express Scalp Refresher Review Cap Open

It leaves a soft and smooth texture to the hair without making it dry or rough. Though it contains menthol, it never makes scalp dry. I am not sure how it will work on dry scalp. Also, it provides nice freshness to the hair and hair looks naturally bouncy. I can style them easily without any sticky feeling.

L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Express Scalp Refresher Review Label

When it comes to volume, it can’t add that huge volume to the hair. Hair looks very normal but fresh with a natural bouncy finish. Also, it makes hair wet and takes time to dry, which is around 15-20 minutes. So, to get best result, you have to wait for that. Also, I didn’t notice any shine on hair except smoothness. It adds life to dull, limp hair. Maybe, it can’t be an alternative of dry shampoo, but definitely an innovative product that works on oily scalp. Also, I didn’t notice any hair fall due to this product and it never irritated my scalp. Hence, it provides great relief to the itchiness.

L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Express Scalp Refresher Review Product in Hand

Overall, I really love the cooling sensation it provides. It reduces the greasy texture from the scalp without making it dry. I wish it adds some more volume to the hair, so that I can use it as an alternative of my dry shampoo. But according to its price, it’s a nice unique product with the boost of refreshment.
