I have always wanted to wear those cute and voluminous false lashes but I cannot quite handle them. Hence, I kept hunting for a mascara, that could give me that effect and I ended up getting this one. This is a NEW mascara from L’oreal, so scroll to know how it worked for me.

My Experience with L’oreal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara:
Packaging: The mascara comes in a nice silver packaging, with a criss-cross design over it. It has the shape like a rocket and is sleek and long. It is a handy one, and fits nicely in a sling as well for touch-ups. The mascara is a bit expensive, as compared to the other competitor brands but that is okay since we know that L’oreal gives us excellent products. The clear base side wand is a straight one and the black mascara has a curvy wand.The wand has soft bristles, which nicely separate the lashes.
Shade, consistency and look on the eyes: The shade 1 is a white base. It is white and it is needed to separate the lashes. It nicely separates the lashes and makes it look more defined. But, it is really white, so I have to ensure I apply the black coat nicely or else the white colour will be visible. The black shade is dark and super black and makes the lashes look more prominent.
But the consistency is smooth yet a bit thick, so layering them a lot will surely clump them and make the lashes look very heavy. Hence, I must wait for one coat to dry and only then apply the other one. It makes my lashes look dense, voluminous and longer. It does have a very noticeable result. It won’t keep the lashes curled for long but I am okay with that.
Staying power: Once applied it does not smudge. It stayed on my lashes for more than 6-7 hours. But the biggest con is that, it is not water-proof. So, if you cry or your eyes are watery, then this will surely give you panda eyes.
Pros of L’oreal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara:
• Dual-ended mascara with a base coat and top coat.
• Handy and looks very attractive.
• Available all around in stores and online too.
• Good quality wand; with a straight one on one end and curvy on the other.
• Base coat separates the lashes very well and defines them.
• The black coat is super dark and coats them lashes evenly.
• Makes the lashes look longer, thicker and dense.
• It does not smudge and stays for more than 6-7 hours.
• Gives me those cute dolly lashes that are very much noticeable.
Cons of L’oreal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara:
• Expensive as compared to other competitor brands.
• The formula is thick; so a lot of layering will clump the lashes.
• Not water-proof.
• They test on animals.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’oreal Paris False Lash Superstar Mascara again?
Yes, I do recommend this one, as it works very well but only if you are comfortable with a non-waterproof formula. I would love to try something from them next that will have a water-proof formula.
Conclusion: It can be a tricky product to use so be patient and do try it at the counter!
