My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Golden Emerald Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow:

The eye shadow comes in such a lovely mini jar packaging with a plastic cap and a safety lid as well. I would never like to trash this cute packaging even after finishing off the product. Over all I find it quite user friendly and travel friendly.

The shade “Golden Emerald” is a shimmery olive green shade with a hint of brown-black undertones at times. I find it perfect for every skin tone as it flatters my light-pale skin tone so well with that dazzling forest green hue. I am even more impressed by the texture and formula of these eye shadows which show up nicely in just one swipe. I see that this green emerald has slightly more silky satin texture than the previous shades. This variant gives lesser fall outs on skin, and adheres nicely on the eyelids but with a base.

It is powdery, satin textured eye shadow which might need few swipes to show up intensely on the eyelids, but I like the subtle shimmery finish on eyes too. I can also use it as an eye liner as we can always achieve buildable coverage with this formula. Wearing this shadow as an all-over lid color or as half way on the eyelids give perfect makeover. I usually find my fingertips more suitable for this formula but we can use a damp brush or a sponge applicator to achieve pretty intense color pay off. When applied dry but over a primer, it gives a lasting power of 8+ hours.

It does not look patchy or streaky whether I use a brush, a sponge or my fingertips to apply it on my eyelids. It does not crease or transfer either. I am sure this particular shade can never make you go over board or make you look like a glitter ball as it gives the perfect proportion of shimmers and pigmented finish.

Not to forget it stays on & on for hours before fading into patches. It might seem a bit tricky initially but makeup pros will definitely love to try it. Hence I highly recommend this dazzling treat to everyone. Just try it once and you will always crave for those green dazzling eyes, I bet.

• Does not crease or smudge easily
• Does not cause any irritation
• Will complement a variety of skin tones and eye colors
• Stays on & on for good 8+ hours on my oily eyelids
• Great quality for the price

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Golden Emerald Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow:

• Shimmers might be a turnoff for some
• Not very easy to blend
