Hope all of you are in pink of your health! I am here again to share my last purchase from L’Oreal this month. I have discovered that peach shade is meant for pale/light skin tones. I used to always stay away from peach probably because I like brighter/deep shades more or because peach looked unappealing in packaging especially with a bunch of pinks & red lip colors! I have also realized the significance of wearing colors according to one’s skin tone, body type (thanks to IMBB), and it does make a difference! So, let’s talk in detail about L’Oreal Paris Henna to Heaven Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor!
This is the long-lasting, transfer-resistant color you’ve been searching for. The high-intensity color glides on with a moisturizing feel that lasts up to 24 hours.
The result: bold lips without the dry-out and no need to re-apply.
Step 1: Apply High Intensity Color for true color pay-off that resists transfer, fading & bleeding.
Step 2: Apply Pro-Seal Balm to lock in color and leave lips feeling moisturized.
$8-$12 for 0.17 Fl Oz (5.2 ml), price varies across stores
My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Henna to Heaven Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:
The shade comes in, as usual, sturdy plastic packaging just like other Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolors. And, as I always say, L’Oreal is certainly a winner in terms of being innovative with packaging that too at unbeatable price & quality!
The shade “Henna to Heaven” seems shimmery golden peach to me in tube while it comes with slight pink undertone on my lips which looks pretty much graceful even with shimmers, though it is a frosty shade and we have to live with the fact! I have a love/hate relationship with this particular shade like previous Toujours Teaberry as well! I love the shade on my lips which gives me youthful subtle makeover apart from enhancing my skin tone while I hate the feel and finish on my lips which is beyond my tolerance level.
I guess first the brush applicator need to be blamed for uneven finishing, then comes the presence of shimmers which make it uneven no matter we swipe it nth times to get rid of that blotchy patchy color pay off. And lastly, that old sticky feel which needs immediate follow up with top coat to make finish worse.
Imagine wearing a golden peach base coat which is already shining like star and to top it we swipe glossy balm which either ruins whole concept of wearing a frosty lip stain or simply take it to another level and we all call it makeup disaster! 😛 I don’t find the need of both shimmers and top coat all in one peach shade. What about you? It certainly stays longer, but of no use since the lip stain starts chipping off like uneven patches and we cannot fix it with touch ups other than starting with fresh application.
I am glad that it is transfer free and I don’t see any traces of shimmers on my chin area or face over all even after wiping it off completely. I just felt that this shade was good on its own even with shimmers provided the formula of these stains was non-sticky. We need frequent lip balm or top coat application with this color sadly, as my lips crave for moisture every 3rd-4th hour.
I don’t think I will get it again, though I will recommend it to beauties for sure provided you know the way to deal with tacky, sticky feel while skipping the glossy coat.
Let’s sum up pros and cons:
Pros of L’Oreal Paris Henna to Heaven Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:
• A light weight shimmery lip stain in subtle golden peach shade
• The shade seems pretty graceful and wearable even with shimmers and frosty finish
• It does not accentuate dry lips issue nor it makes them super dry
• It does stay for good 6+ hours thereby chipping off like flakes, patches which might need taken care of
• The top coat ensures hydration and soft finish for decent 3-4 hours
• Quite user friendly & travel friendly packaging
Cons of L’Oreal Paris Henna to Heaven Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor:
• Frosty finish and sticky texture is beyond tolerance level to me personally
• Chipping off a lip stain is certainly not acceptable
• Shimmers and glossy top coat aren’t best companions to play with
• I need frequent touch ups of top coat with this shade
Well, I think it works more or less like Toujours Teaberry shade, in general. I seriously don’t think shimmers and top coat are good idea to play with at one time which actually are not avoidable in this case. I won’t get it again, though I am interested to try all matte, creamy shades from this range.

I agree with you Neetu. Why would or rather how would one comfortably be able to apply top coat on frosty shade…But, it’s as usual looking gorgeous on you. Looking forward to more shades. 🙂
So sweet shikha.. 🙂 yeah exactly why on earth we need frosty base coat with equally glossy top coat 🙂
The shade is a bit weird for me :/ I like the top coat but everything else is a miss for me
The shade cud HV been much better without shimmers and top coat. Even the top coat is not very good its decent.
