L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Gel Crayon 103 Browny Crush comes in a regular sleek and sharpenable pencil form. The pencil is black coloured and has a colour-coded cap. The colour-coded cap helps in picking up the desired shade easily. The pencil itself bears no information regarding the product, not even the shade name. It has no outer cardboard packaging but comes sealed with cellophane to prevent tampering. This is a sharpenable pencil but no sharpener has been provided with it. Overall, the packaging is easy to work with and travel-friendly too.
Shade:
The shade ‘Browny Crush’ is our own very basic brown eyeliner. It is kind of deep chocolaty brown shade. If you are sceptical of replacing your regular black eyeliner with a prominently colourful shade, then this could be your first step in the process of replacement.
Pigment:
The pigment of ‘Browny Crush’ is very rich with a good color payoff. It provides almost an opaque finish in a single swipe or stroke. In a couple of swipes, it provides full pigmentation without any streakiness or patchiness. The strokes are very neat and sharp.
Texture:
This eyeliner is very creamy and glides effortlessly. I don’t have to drag for making a stroke. It’s like it glides so smoothly on its own, but there is no slipping at all. The application is even and smooth. The formula takes a few seconds to settle which gives proper time for smudging. But as soon as it dries off, there is no crumbling or patchiness. Not to mention, it does not budge at all. The liner sets to the soft matte finish.
Staying Power:
Once it sets, it is water-resistant and smudge-proof. It stays intact all day long without making eyes uncomfortable or watery. There is no unevenness or patchiness even at the end of the day. Ultimately, to remove this eyeliner you will need a good quality makeup remover. I use Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water – which does the job perfectly.
