We are doing good and still recovering from post-trip fatigue as we enjoyed a lot of snow adventure sports last weekend and those adventurous moments are now being cherished as sweet, sour pain! It is very well said that in today’s world, we need to be active or should better get ready for premature ageing because that’s what we feel after this tedious trip. Anyway, I am also here to share a shade from L’Oreal’s newly released Infallible 8 hr pro gloss range! As of now I believe that people seeking hydrating balmy glosses would anytime love it irrespective of their decent staying power or sheer to medium coverage. So let’s read more about it!

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible 8 HR Pro Gloss Undeniable Mauve:

The creamy gloss comes in transparent curvy tube packaging resembling the sister range of Infallible pro-matte glosses. Even the leaf-shaped doe foot applicator seems pretty similar; however, the difference is well visible in their applicator caps. I noticed that L’Oreal Infallible pro gloss caps are shiny black plastic caps while Infallible pro-matte gloss applicator caps feel pretty dull black with smooth velvety texture in touch and appearance. Overall, I am happy with their user friendly and travel friendly packing.

The shade “Undeniable Mauve” looks a deep, creamy mauve plum gloss in packaging and it delivers subtle wearable mauve color on my lips. However, I find it slight tricky on my skin tone as I am not habitual of sporting mauve shades, but I see gals wearing mauve shades with full zeal. I think my skin tone is too pale to sport this dull shade. Coming over its semi-opaque finish, I am really impressed by its nearly medium coverage as it conceals almost 80% of my lip pigmentation. I am sure beauties with mildly pigmented lips can easily carry this shade while deeper pigmented lips can pull it on with a lip liner or concealer beneath this gloss.

It has a smooth, creamy, glossy consistency which effortlessly blends on my lips giving them glassy shine with an even-finish mauve color pay off. The high glossy shine though transforms into glossy sheen after few hours but it does stay as long as the color stays on my lips. Moreover, the gloss is really balmy and hydrating which takes care of mild dryness on lips very well apart from covering mild lip flaws such as dry patches and/or mild pigmentations on lips. My lips feel pretty soft even after removing it off at the end of day. Needless to say it stays for decent 6-7 hours on my lips with light transfers with meal break while it manages to leave mild sheen even after heavy meal which looks good on its own or good enough for touch-ups.

I also observed that the consistency of this balmy gloss is such that it adheres to lips but it does not feel sticky at all thankfully. Probably its thick adhering texture contributes to its superhydrating as well as decent staying power as I see mild transferring but I can still spot the gloss on lips after meals. As this shade itself comes up dull mauve on my face, I cannot vouch for its non-dull, non fading claims. Overall, I find it perfect for beauties with superdry lips as well as pigmented lips considering it takes care of mild dryness and pigmentation while we can easily work on the color pay off.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Infallible 8 HR Pro Gloss Undeniable Mauve:

• A shimmer free, creamy wearable mauve plum gloss with an intense hydrating property.
• It has a thick consistency which easily slips on dry normal lips giving seamless finish.
• It smartly forgives minor lip flaws like mild dry patches, mild lip pigmentation etc.
• It doesn’t settle in lip lines.
• It does not feel drying or aggravate dryness.
• The gloss manages to stay for good 6-7 hours with a small meal break while it can last up to full 8 hours even with heavy meals as I often see subtle glossy sheen on lips even after several meals.
• Quite user friendly and travel friendly packaging.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Infallible 8 HR Pro Gloss Undeniable Mauve:

• This shade is tricky for my skin tone.

I might not get this shade again since I am yet to gain interest in mauve but I would definitely get other shades from this range in future as well. I highly recommend this creamy juicy gloss to everyone. I am sure it is going to impress you all with that nearly intense color pay off and super balmy juicy texture; especially if you shy away from liquid lipsticks, then you should try this out.
