How to Use:
Start on a clean eye. Product can be applied directly with applicator or finger tips to achieve the desired look. Wear alone or blend with other shades. When layering multiple colors, wait for the first color to set before applying the second.
My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Paints Eye Shadow 314 Sunset Fire:
L’Oreal Paris Infallible Paints Eye Shadow comes in a dual-ended clear plastic tube and both sides have one shade each. Due to its clear packaging, it’s easy to identify and it’s a two-in-one product. Each side has one sponge tip applicator wand which makes the application easier; the wand is quite long to hold. The tube is totally safe to carry around as well.
As the name suggests, this is a bright sunset shade. So, one side it has a beautiful warm bright peachy orange shade while the other side contains a light silky peachy shade. I really like the combination and both the shades have fine shimmers that look subtle on the eyes; the lighter shade gives a nice highlighting look as well.
I personally love such shades. These are perfect summery shades for all skin tones. Both the shades are well pigmented and occupy the lid perfectly and evenly, making it look bright. I can build up the pigmentation of these shadows easily. This a liquid creamy shadow that has a buttery soft texture and shadows blend smoothly on the eyes.
The product spreads evenly on the lid and works with a brush as well as fingers. It’s not like the previous shade I have used. ‘Navy Yard’ is not as good with a brush but this one works well. But, whatever I use I have to work quickly before the shadows dry out completely. Otherwise, the application looks a bit patchy but you still have enough time to blend the shadows.
I have to work quicker when I wish to layer up these shadows. Also, powder base, such as a compact powder, leads to patchy application. The product looks gorgeous and flawless on its own and delivers a smooth finish. It feels extremely lightweight on the lids. It does not transfer or smudge once it sets, and is waterproof too.
Shimmer also looks flawless on eyes and gives a perfectly shiny finish. These shadows last quite long on the eyes and never look messy. My eyelids are not oily and these shadows last pretty long, i.e. for 6-7 hours, without creasing or settling into the fine lines. You might have to use a primer underneath if you have oily eyelids. The shimmer particles in these shadows do not spread and the product can easily be removed with a makeup wipe.
Overall, this is definitely a new formula and super easy to use. It is good enough for beginners too because they can apply it easily. I just love its finish and am absolutely obsessed with the shades too even though the product is slightly expensive.
