My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Le Stylo Smoky Eyeshadow – 113 Smoked Red and 110 Mocha Coffee:

I think I have been most obsessed with these cream eyeshadows from L’Oreal Paris because they are so easy to use. They come in these crayon form. These eyeshadows are so pigmented. First of all, there is a whole range of colors in this collection – from red to blue to bronze to brown and also pink and gold. It’s just that they make for such an easy-to-use product, you can wear them on their own or you can layer them up underneath your eyeshadow which probably is my favorite part because instantly they give that extra boost to the eyeshadow. These pencils also have a little smudger brush in the end (which I don’t use), but it comes in really handy if you want to apply just like a little swipe of color and want to get a little smokey effect. You can  just smudge it out and within seconds, you will have instant freshened-up look, you know “on-the-go” kind of a look.

So, the two shades that I am reviewing today are – “Mocha Coffee 110,” which is a gorgeous gorgeous brown everyday color and it is pretty matte. You can literally use it as an eyeliner, use it as a base for your black eyeliner, as a base for your brown eyeshadow, or use it on its own, like a quick smokey eye look in the morning, on the go, and you are sorted.

The second color that I have picked up is “Smoked Red,” which is a magenta reddish color and it is so stunning! I have no words for this color. It is so unique and it is so good to see a drugstore brand coming up with such interesting colors, makes it an amazing pick. Generally, you would find such colors in high-end and expensive brands, and this is like L’Oreal coming up with such interesting colors and it’s amazing.

These crayons feel very soft on the eyelids. They are extremely pigmented and have just the right amount of slip so that they don’t tug or pull your eyelids, and within seconds, you can smudge it off with your fingertips, pencil brush, just like they are so easy to use.

These pencils are very creamy, and once they are set, they are set for a very long time. I use an eyeshadow primer underneath. Whenever I have used them, I haven’t seen them disappearing even after 6 to 7 hours. I would always suggest that you use an eyeshadow primer, but if you don’t use such a product, maybe it would have a lesser staying power. Even when I have used eyeshadows on top of these, they don’t break up the product and make for a great base and other shadows go on smoothly on top of these. I love these eyeshadows and also a big thumbs up to L’Oreal for bringing up a product like this because it is excellent.

These crayons are not to be sharpened, they can be twisted up and down. Also, they have colored band at the end and that makes them easy to store in your stash if you have a lot of such eye pencils. They are not very chubby, not very thin, they are like the perfect size to be in your kit. If you are office goer or even if you are a student, they are your best friends. It’s a really really good product.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Le Stylo Smoky Eyeshadow 113 Smoked Red and 110 Mocha Coffee:
