Skin Type: Oily & Sensitive
I always shop a lot before ‘Puja’, makeup is also included in this ‘Puja Haul’. Liner is a must needed makeup for all so I picked this new launched L’Oreal Paris Liner Magique Black Eye Liner. Let’s get into the review.
Price: Rs. 399/- for 3g
My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Liner Magique Black Eye Liner:
L’Oreal Magique range has a very identifiable black and pink packaging with a girl wearing liner or kajal, this liner also comes in same color cardboard box with all the details. Actual liner comes in a small thick to thin size decreasing tube and it looks so pretty. Also it has a very fine felt tip applicator brush that works super smooth on eye. I am totally impressed with its thin brush applicator. It is so easy to draw a sharp winged line with it. It is just like a pen liner that is good for beginner also.
It comes with only one shade ‘Black’ and it is a perfect jet black shade. The shade is super pigmented and one stroke is enough to build up the perfect deep bold color intensity. It looks super bold and beautiful on eyes.
Like all liquid liner, it has medium thin consistency that glides easily on eye without any tugging. Application process is so smooth and easy that I never face any problem to draw thick to thin line with it. It also dries out quickly and settles in a nice glossy texture. I like this finishing and it looks good. It doesn’t feel patchy.
They claim that it is a smudge proof and water proof non transfer liner and according to their claim it doesn’t transfer on lid and doesn’t smudge automatically but it is not 100% smudge proof, still it is a good almost smudge proof liner. Only after a long time when my eyes gets oily too much, then an unfortunate rubbing can smudge it lightly. But the thing is, it is not water proof. It totally washed out with water and nothing left on my eyes, without any single stain. So this is quite disappointing. But it never messes or never moves from its place automatically which is quite good for a daily wear liner. Also it never irritated my eyes.
I have oily eye lid and it stays around 5-6hrs on my eyes. But it moves slightly from watery inner corners after 4hrs. Otherwise it doesn’t move or doesn’t fade. It is also very easy to remove it. I can wash it with water. Overall it is a nice budge friendly jet black liner but I couldn’t find any extra quality in it. It is a normal liner for daily purpose. Good thing is its super smooth felt tip which is generally a rare part at this affordable price. But I expect a water-proof formula but it turns out to a normal liner.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Paris Liner Magique Black Eye Liner?
I love to try different products and mostly I prefer a water proof liner, so I am not sure about repurchase but if you want a good pigmented liner that works like a felt tip pen liner then it is a nice budget friendly option for you.
