I ordered all of them online and was very happy with the service of the site I ordered it from. When I ordered them, they were newly launched and were not on discount, now you get them on some discount too. Anyway,I mainly bought them all because I do use blushers all the time and these packaging and the colors and the strip or bar shape of the colors really appealed to me, I love these shimmer bar kind of products and hence I got all of them.
I have reviewed the sunset glow shade here. The pigmentation of sunset glow shade was way better than this one, this one honestly has disappointed me i terms of pigmentation, it just wont show up before three swipes. Though it is a wine pink on me, which does suit me, the texture has also disappointed me.
Packaging:
The packaging looks so high end anyone of us would go weak in the knees,I have to admit I sought them like a collectible and got them all due to the mirror finish packaging and the mirror compact and the brush, everything is great and much more than the cost of the product, superb job L’Oreal.
Texture
The texture is very hard and once you swipe your finger on, you hardly feel any smoothness, you feel like it is smooth but that is it, it is like stone smooth, you do don’t really find it satiny or anything.
Pigmentation
The pigmentation is below average, you do not get any color when you swipe all together, the topmost is light and chalky, I am not at all impressed with the pigmentation. Extremely poor for such a gorgeous looking palette.
The topmost color is a light pink, the middle is a taupe brown and the last is wine pink, all three together look like nothing but on the cheeks they look like wine pink on me, not very impressive in terms of color pigmentation too.
Lasting power
These show up so lightly on my skin tone that it barely lasts two hours or may be lesser.Since they are poorly pigmented they do not stain or last too.
Price point
For the kind of poor pigment and the color and texture, it is definitely overpriced.Sad!
Recommendation:
I do not recommend such an expensive but poorly pigmented wine pink shade, there is very mild shimmer to it but it barely shows up, the colors barely show up as such, I am disappointed with this one.
