How are you all in this killing hot summer? It is becoming impossible to survive in Kolkata’s hot and humid weather. Today I will review a beautiful product by L’Oreal Paris which came into my vanity one week ago. It’s Color Riche Ombre Eyeshadow Quad called Precious Purple.

4 perfectly matched, easy-to-use sumptuous colours. Choose just the right colours to make your eyes look their biggest, brightest and most attractive.

How to Use:
1. PREP YOUR LID: With brush, apply base color over entire eyelid.
2. SCULPT YOUR EYES: With sponge, apply from outer to inner corner to create depth.
3. Define your eyes with tip of sponge, apply along the lash line.
4. Touch of Highlight: With brush, apply in the centre of your eyelid to define a shimmery dimensional look.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Precious Purple Color Riche Ombre Eyeshadow Quad:

The packaging is very classy and sturdy. The lid on top of the quad is golden in color and the base is black which is very sturdy and the lid closes with a click which secures it from opening and can be carried in bag without hassles. At the back of the quad, the shade name and number are written with detailed instructions on how to use the quad. A dual sided applicator brush is provided with the quad, one side is broad and the other side is narrow to create a line. This applicator brush is better than other brushes provided with usual eye shadows.

I love eye shadow quads over singles as I have to spend less money and I get coordinated colors in quads. This is very beautifully combined quad of lovely blues and a lilac color to give a smokey eyes look. The texture is very soft and there is very little fall out. Pigmentation of these eyeshadows is awesome. The shades stay on my eyelids for 7 hours. Now, my eyelids are oily and I don’t use any primer! Can something beat this?

The blendability of the shadows is awesome. The eyeshadows can be worn on their own individually or can be used together to create various look. It has four colors – purple with purple shimmer, light pink color with sky blue shimmer, navy blue with golden and silver shimmer, light purple color with pink shimmer. The shades are really beautiful and will look pretty good on every skin tone.

I would recommend this quad to everyone. This is a must-have eyeshadow in everyone’s vanity. But personally, I won’t buy this one again and will go for other variants.
