Skin Tone: Medium to Dusky
Hope you are all doing great. L’Oréal Paris has recently launched 3 new clay masks, which were a super hit in the market, all three masks have been reviewed on IMBB. Now they have launched 2 brand new cleansers along with a scrub in conjunction with the masks. I picked up all three of them because I enjoyed using their clay masks. Each cleanser is powered by 3 different clays in their purest form and enhanced with a nature-sourced ingredient. Today I am going to review their “Pure-Clay Detox and Brighten cleanser”, so let’s get started.
$14.99 AUD for 150 ml
The Loreal Paris Laboratories have combined 3 pure clays with the magnetic properties of charcoal extract to create a foaming gel cleanser that perfectly cleanses and visibly detoxifies the skin. Its formula removes impurities to brighten skin’s complexion.
My Experience With The Loreal Paris Pure Clay Detoxifying Gel Wash:
This cleanser comes in a pale green squeezy tube, with a transparent window in the middle, which shows the colour of the cleanser. The packaging is sturdy and easy to use and is also travel-friendly. This product itself is in a greyish black colour just like charcoal and also has a unique charcoal scent to it just like the detox mask, which is quite nice.
The texture is very different from your average drugstore cleanser it is semi-thick, more like a mousse-y gel consistency. It’s super slimy and spreads really well on your skin. It’s a cleansing gel-wash formulated with three pure clays combined with charcoal, to help detoxify your skin. The ‘detox’ includes absorbing excess oil, dirt and make-up residue which more often than not, lead to breakouts if not treated well.
I take a small amount of this wash and then massage it onto my face and neck, it doesn’t foam very much but it does give you a nice foaming feel. It does not feel stripping on the skin and hydrates and cleanses the skin at the same time which makes it suitable for all skin types. After cleansing, there is no residue left on the skin. It leaves you with fresh, clarified skin that still feels hydrated after the cleanse. This face wash also brightens the skin and makes tired looking skin radiant and refreshed.
On days when I feel like my pores need a good cleanse which is almost daily. I would always turn to the Loreal Pure Clay Detox Face Wash. This wash helps in clarifying and cleaning the skin and also helps in getting rid of all the grime and dirt from the pores. The Charcoal plays a great role in detoxifying the face and cleaning out the pores.
I love this face wash, this is my favourite among the three, it makes my skin feel fresh, refreshed, detoxified, smooth and squeaky clean. I am really happy that finally drugstore brands are stepping up their skincare game and giving us such high-quality products.
