L’Oreal made it big with their multimasking products and I loved them. Recently, they launched 3 scrubs and I was waiting for them to hit the stores and picked up 2 products from the range. Today’s review is all about L’Oreal Paris Pure-Sugar Purify and Unclog Face Scrub. Read on to know more.

With this exfoliating sugar scrub skin feels purified and clean. Dirt, oil and impurities are effectively removed. Dull skin is gently polished away. How to Use:

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Pure-Sugar Purify and Unclog Face Scrub:

The product comes in a sealed cardboard package. There is a transparent strip through which you can see the product. The design of the outer package depends on the variant inside. There are three variants: One for unclogging the pores, one for glow and other for nourishment. I didn’t pick the one with nourishing properties because I feel that it might be a winter one and not for the upcoming summers.

There is information on the outer package, but once you open, you see a transparent glass jar which contains the product. There is almost no information on the jar. The glass is sturdy and it has a golden beige screw cap that closes with a lock and doesn’t open on its own. The product is perfectly travel-friendly. There is also a stop plate to cover the wide mouth. You can clearly see the product in the jar. The tub package makes it a little unhygienic as you need to put your fingers to pick up the product.

The scrub has a light gel-like consistency and is loaded with sugar particles. It also has seeds of kiwi in it. It is green in color and has a kiwi-lemon scent to it. It feels very fresh and sweet. The application of the product is pretty easy, you need to apply the product and then massage with wet fingers and then wash off with warm water. The product can also be used on lips.

When applying the product, you feel a little bit of tingling sensation with a little warmth. It’s not unbearable, but if you have sensitive skin, this could be an issue. The sugar particles are very fine and do not melt away immediately and this give you time to work with them on your skin. I usually scrub for around 2 minutes and then wash it with water. The scrub is also great for lips and this makes it a 2-in-1 product.

The sugar scrubs are gentle but if you put a little pressure near the corner of the nose, you see that the skin does turn red. But, without a little pressure, the black and white heads do not come off. This product is meant to purify and unclog your pores and it does what it claims. It gently exfoliates the skin and removes all kind of dryness and dead cell particles from your skin revealing the fresh new skin underneath.

I do not have blackheads but I have whiteheads and this product completely removed my whiteheads from the first use. When I was washing my face, I felt that my skin was so soft and smooth and once I pat my skin dry, my skin felt so smooth and I haven’t had this with any scrubs till now. It makes my skin baby soft and I would buy this scrub only for this.

The product nourishes the skin and doesn’t dry the skin. A little product is more than enough to achieve a good refined skin. The pores also appear smaller. The product is gentle and can be used 3 times a week. It does remove any dead skin from the lips too. Overall, I absolutely love the scrub and is very moisturizing.
