Are you ready to celebrate Spring season by 12th of February? We are yet to welcome Spring season practically as this cold weather will continue till April. But I have nothing to worry; we are always ready to beat weather blues with shopping, shopping and just shopping. 😀 And here, I am sharing my new love with you all – a gorgeous, shimmery purple eye shadow from L’Oreal Paris Infallible range.

First of all, a big salute to girls who always come up with super tempting eye makeup. Now that I am learning basics regularly, I can imagine how many times you might have encouraged yourself to try harder. Even I am learning it since 2015 and hope that I will succeed before 2016 gets over. 😛 So let’s read more about L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24 Hour Eyeshadow – Purple Priority.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Purple Priority Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow:

The eye shadow comes in a really beautiful miniature plastic jar packaging with a safety lid and grey cap. I always adore their packaging, which looks too good to skip even if the product is not worth it. Thankfully here the product is equally good, hence a win-win. I can never get over these miniature jars, hence full marks for their gorgeous, safe, user friendly & travel friendly packaging.

Coming over to my shade, Purple priority, I have special love for purples since they give a brightening effect to my skin tone as well as to my brown eyes. And this metallic purple shade is no exception as it complements my brown eyes and pale skin tone so well. The fine shimmers make this otherwise warm toned purple shade look a bit cool and different on different skin tones. However I like how it gives an intense purple color pay off with no frosty finish on eyes, even though it may need few strokes for better pigmentation.

I mean there is just one significant difference between this shade and other high-end products (I tried so far) that I need multiple swipes to achieve an intense finish with these. While with most of the high end eye shadows, I get the desired color pay off in just 1 or 2 swipes. Other than this, I can proudly say that this eye shadow is a budget friendly version of pressed pigment eye shadows, which give non-streaky, non-patchy and crease-free finish every time.

I do need a primer for this shimmery eye shadow because it helps to set the shadow nicely for several hours; I see that this eye shadow tends to work equally fair without a primer, though the staying power and intensity of the color may vary. I have also observed that using it over a primer alone makes it tricky for me to get picture perfect finish as it is a creamy shimmery textured product.

I genuinely feel that a good eye shadow base is much needed with this color to set it with superb intensity somehow, as even after several attempts it never comes up the way it looks in hand swatches. Besides this, I am yet to find out why it happens that my top rated Sephora collection eye makeup brushes fail to deliver good results with this shade which gets easily blended with just a dampened ecotools eye brush or even with a regular eye makeup sponge.

The good thing is that it does not cause fall outs nor does it ever settle in our fine lines. In fact I have never noticed any shimmery traces on my face, which tells how promising and top notch results it will deliver if it comes to right hand. However I could not notice 24 hours staying power, though I can never wear makeup for 24 hours. But then I see slight fading of this shade after 8+ hours on my skin, which is again pretty impressive. I feel that if I have proper skills, tools and innovative approach, then all I need is this shade to make my day.

Over all, I find it beyond perfect for everyone, especially for gals looking for a budget friendly and goo quality product; this shade is unbeatable at this price and quality.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Purple Priority Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow:

• A gorgeous purple eye shadow with metallic finish
• The shimmers are not OTT
• The texture is creamy-powdery with no fall outs
• Sets easily into a seamlessly smooth finish
• Provides intense purple pigmentation in few swipes
• Does not settle into our crease line or fine lines
• Never transfers onto other area
• Stays for good 7+ hours with well primed eyelids
• Does not irritate sensitive eyes
• Good packaging and quality at unbeatable price

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Purple Priority Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow:

• Tends to fade after 8-10 hours on my oily eyelids
• Does need a primer for a flawless finish

Well I don’t think these cons are worth our consideration since we know that at this price, we cannot expect it to beat high-end products. Needless to say, it is certainly comparable to many significant brands for the quality at such price range.
