So ever since L’oreal Paris launched these new Rouge Caresse lipsticks, everybody has been raving about them. Though I owned three shades from this range even before these launched in India, I bought another one just yesterday now that they are easily available here. And as of yet, I have a love-hate relation with these lipsticks. The shade I’m reviewing this time is 602 Irrestible Expresso. Read on to find out more about this shade!

What Loreal says about Rouge Caresse: Don’t just stroke your lips, caresse them. Lips say yes to this Caresse. A flutter of soft light-weight feeling color. Its delicate texture glides onto lips creating a veil of color with a luminous shine. Available in 10 bright and eye catching shades.

My take on L’oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Irresistible Expresso:

I’d begin by saying that I have a love-hate relationship with these Rouge Caresse lipsticks. I love how creamy and balmy they are. But I hate their staying power. So that explains why I say that. First off, the packaging is similar to the Infallible lipsticks’ packaging. Sleek, elegant and classy! Also, it’s very sturdy and totally travel friendly.

The shade I bought this time is 602 Irresistible Expresso. It’s the first brown color lipstick I’ve ever bought. I bought it keeping in mind the texture and the color build up and I thought to myself, what better lipstick than L’oreal to venture into a totally new shade. It’s a coffee brown color that looks totally gorgeous when applied! 😀
The color is sheer to buildable. I like it best when worn just a single swipe of it, but that’s my preference. It looks equally gorgeous when more swiped, like maybe 3-4 times. This, I feel, is the best shade from the Rouge Caresse collection. The staying power of this shade is slightly better than the other 3 lipsticks I already own from this range. That is might be because this lipstick is a dark shade. It stays on me for 4-5 hours easily and then it needs a touch up. The texture is THE best part! so soft and creamy. It almost feels like a balm! It glides onto the lips very smoothly and keeps the lips moisturized for a long time. This is by far the best formula of any lipstick I’ve tried. A sure shot winner here!

Cons of L’oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Irresistible Expresso:

• Some people may not like it’s color payoff.
• No other con.

Will I repurchase L’Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipstick Irresistible Expresso ?

As soon as I finish this one off, I’ll buy another one in the same shade.
