L’Oreal Paris recently launched a lot of makeup products in India and I picked up a couple of them. They also launched the L’Oreal Paris Rouge Magique Intense Matte Lipstick range and I picked up three shades. Here is the review for the shade Divine Mocha.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Rouge Magique Intense Matte Lipstick Divine Mocha:

Packaging:
L’Oreal Paris always packages its products beautifully. This lipstick comes in a beautiful black and pink packaging. The cap is beautiful and has a metallic finish. It looks pretty and attractive. I also find this packaging quite travel-friendly as the cap closes securely with a click.

Also, there is a color-coded sticker at the bottom of the lipstick. I really like this packaging. But the product related information is provided only on the plastic wrap, which gets destroyed once you open the packaging.

Shade:
This range offers some beautiful shades for the Indian skin tones and the shade Divine Mocha is my favourite. It is a beautiful warm natural almond brown shade and this shade looks absolutely stunning on the lips.

It is a perfect daily wear shade for all skin tones. It has a pretty natural tone which goes with any makeup look. Also, this is a well pigmented shade and requires just one-two strokes to get that perfect colour pay off. It can even hide pigmentation of the lips well.

Texture and Quality:
This new range has a very smooth and soft creamy texture that glides easily on the lips without any tugging. It doesn’t feel patchy, hence it sets to a non-drying, perfect matte finish, which looks stunning. The formula feels very similar to Maybelline creamy matte range, and I like that range, too.

This formula feels super light and comfortable on the lips. I really like such smooth matte finish. It contains honey, jojoba and canina oils and that’s why it provides a good amount of hydration to the lips. As a result, this lipstick keeps the lips moisturised for long.

It is good enough for dry lips as well and never highlights dry patches. Interestingly, this formula doesn’t smudge or transfer and is waterproof as well. It does transfer slightly initially, but once it settles​ down, it never creates any mess on the lips.

Staying Power:
The staying power is also quite impressive. It stays on for around 8 hours on my lips. It can also survive a meal, but looks a little faded after a heavy meal. I think it is pretty common, so I do not really mind it. It still looks so beautiful, after all. Also, it is very easy to remove this lipstick from the lips.

Overall:
I must say this is one of the best lipstick ranges by L’Oreal Paris and it is quite affordable, too. It does everything it claims. I love this range and right now I am just obsessed with this mocha shade.
