My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Rouge Magique Lipstick Beige Reveur:

Let’s begin with the packaging of this baby. This lipstick comes in a gorgeous black and metallic pink packaging. The lipstick tube is black in color and has a beautiful metallic pink cap. The cap shuts very tightly making a click sound. Hence, the packaging is definitely purse friendly. The metallic pink packaging looks quite girly and attractive as well. There is a color-coded sticker at the base of the tube, which bears the shade name and number. The lipstick has a regular twist-up mechanism, which works pretty smoothly. The lipstick has a regular bullet shape, which facilitates easy and smooth application. Overall, I love the packaging. It is so feminine and sturdy as well.

I don’t prefer using brown lipsticks, but this time, I decided to take a break from regular pink and corals and try something new. Hence, I have grabbed three beautiful n*de shades from this range. These are all n*de browns and I am happy since I love these lipsticks so much.

“Beige Réveur” is a beautiful warm brownish-n*de shade with a hint of pink. This shade reminds me of Sugar Cosmetics Vivid Matte Lipstick “Breaking Bare.” This shade is a perfect MLBB shade for many skin tones. I prefer this shade when I want my look to be more subtle than playful. This color looks pretty on the lips. I have medium skin tone and this shade has turned out to be a pretty n*de shade for my skin tone.

Beige Reveur will flatter so many Indian skin tones. This is a perfect everyday shade, which can be wear to office or college or wherever you want. This lipstick does not really contain any shimmer and it sets to a soft velvety matte kind of a finish. The lipstick is decently pigmented and one swipe gives semi-opaque coverage.

Therefore, I need two-three swipes to achieve perfect and even color. It is capable of hiding pigmented lips very well. There is no significant smell in this lipstick, which is a pro for people with sensitive noses. The lipstick sets to a lovely matte finish. The finish is close to powder matte.

The texture of this lipstick is amazing. It is so soft and smooth and therefore glides on the lips like a dream without causing any tugging or pulling. But being a matte lip color, it has a tendency to cling to the dry patches of the lips hence prepping the lips well prior to application is mandatory.

It is lightweight and feels super comfortable on the lips. The formula is non-drying and matte. My lips feel so comfortable and kind of hydrated with this lipstick. Since this lipstick is enriched with the goodness of jojoba oil and honey, it provides nourishment to the lips and prevents them from drying. The color looks even on the lips and never gets patchy. This range is worth trying by people with dry lips as well. The formula is smudge-proof and transfer-proof up to some extent. It takes a few seconds to set and once set, does not budge at all. It does not settle into the fine lines of the lips and gives a smooth finish.

Lasting power is approximately 5-6 hours on my lips with constant sipping of water. Being such a soft shade, I find the staying power quite impressive. It survives little snacking easily but cannot survive heavy meals and fades from the inner corner of the lips, but reapplication solves that issue. Overall, this lipstick has a few cons but I still love it so much.
