A few days back, I had introduced you to the new range of lip tints introduced by L’oreal Paris in their Shine Caresse Range- Summer 2014 edition. I am overall very happy with these lip tints, as these are easy to apply and make my face look very radiant. Today, I am reviewing the last purchase of that mini haul. This is a very pretty ruby color, and has been aptly named. It is very like the other lip tints in application, and is a very glamorous color for any evening out.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Shine Caresse Pearl Sheen Lip Tint – Ruby:

Out of the three lip tints, I love this one the most. The color is much pigmented, with excellent color pay off in one swipe only. It is extremely moisturising on my lips and does not dry it out. The application is very very smooth and light weight….with no grittiness due to shimmer. It settles down to a very pretty ruby red shade, which will be flattering on all skin tones. It gives a lovely shine to the lips, and the shine stays long. The shimmer is not as prominent as Maya, nor is it as subtle as Cherie. I am totally in love with this shade.

Rest of my experience has been the same: excellent as always. It comes in a Golden color, tapering tube, with a transparent window to make out the shade. The wand applicator is also the same, very soft, tear drop slanted shape, with a small hole in the centre, so as to control the amount of product transferred on to the lips. The wand closes the mouth of the tube with a click, so it is quite secure and safe in your purse. The fragrance is the same, floral rosy kind. It stays put with light snacks; with a heavy meal, it may lose its shine, but the color stays intact. There is no feathering or bleeding. It is non-sticky, and does not enhance the lip lines. It lasts long….and leaves a pretty stain on fading.

• Will easily cover even pigmented lips
• Tends to darken a bit with time
• Pleasant Fragrance (though I would have liked it to have no fragrance at all)
• Shimmer particles not prominent on lips

Yes, I will. There is nothing wrong in it at all. This is a real glamorous shade, with very fine pinkish and silverish micro shimmer, which do not stay after fading. This is perfect shade on all skin tones, and for all ages. Indeed, these will make a very good addition to your make up kitty.
