L’Oreal Paris Studio Line #TXT [Texture Styling] Volume Supersizing Spray Review

Hello beautiful ladies!

Recently I reviewed a volumizing spray from L’oreal and I also mentioned that I had picked up a lot of volumizing products, so here I am with another one! This one is the higher range from the volumizing range of L’Oreal and this one claims to give ‘supersizing volume’, so probably it is designed for the ones who have extremely thin hair and want excess volume. Let’s see how this worked; better than the last one or not!

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Studio Line #TXT [Texture Styling] Volume Supersizing Spray:

Loreal studio line #TXT volume supersizing spray

Recently, I got some sprays from L’Oreal, the first one disappointed me and this one did the same! I wonder why they created 2 products with different names when both the products work in the same way. This was a little better than the earlier one. It comes in a purplish black cylindrical bottle with vibrant orange fonts which make it look classy. Everything is mentioned very nicely on the bottle. The packaging is great with a spray nozzle which works perfectly, but it is pretty big in size so cannot be carried around. I was expecting this to be used on damp hair, but it instructed to use on dry hair. The spray feels like water when sprayed on the hair, it gives a cooling, wet sensation.

It smells really nice of mixed fruits and the smell stays all day long. I turned my hair upside down and sprayed this generously all over my hair targeting mainly the roots. The moment my flipped my hair, my hair looked stiff and hard. I sprayed a lot of amounts on roots and they became very stiff. I could see a really good amount of volume in my hair but my roots looked flat. They looked stiff and felt hard too while touching. And also, when I ran my fingers through my hair, my fingers got stuck there in the hardness and I could see a lot of hairfall.

Then, I realised after a few uses that this is the spray that gives you hold and gives the greatest volume when you make backcombed hairstyles like a ponytail with a pouf. It gives a lot of volume near the scalp when combed backwards and my hair looks super voluminous like a model. Hence this spray is great when you tie your hair, but if you leave it open, it will create a mess. Although the crunchiness reduces with time, I did not like how it made my hair feel.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Paris Studio Line #TXT [Texture Styling] Volume Supersizing Spray?
No, I wouldn’t! Because this makes my hair stiff and gives a lot of hair fall while combing due to the hardening effect. So, I would neither purchase nor recommend this.

Conclusion:
This actually made my hair look thick and artificial and that is not what I was looking for. I am still on a hunt for good volumizing spray.

  1. Oh saloni! The shocks you get when you flip your hair back. 😛 You are very brave that you still trusted L’oreal and used another spray. Such duds these are! Techni Art range has better products, it seems.
