How to Use L’Oréal Paris Stylista Bun Gel Spray:
Step 1: Dry your hair and shake the bottle
Step 2: Spray over the lengths of your hair and spread carefully
Step 3: Create a knot in your style
Step 4: Spread a small amount over your hair to prevent fluff

My Experience with L’Oréal Paris Stylista Bun Gel Spray:

The spray comes in a pink plastic bottle with a black cap. The nozzle sprays the product effectively. There is a black cap which closes tightly with an audible click. The bottle is wobbly and there are chances that it might crack. The product is travel-friendly. There is some information on the back of the bottle.

The bun gel spray is milky white in colour and has a runny texture. The consistency is semi-thick and is gel-like. The smell is amazing and it smells like rose and this is due to the presence of rose petals oil. The nozzle even though sprays with force, it does in short sprays. The product is easy to use. You need to spray to dried hair and then create a bun, and post which you need to spray the gel again to keep the hair in place.

LOreal Paris Stylista Bun Gel Spray Review Nozzle

The bun gel spray is lightweight and non-sticky. It doesn’t leave any residue behind. The product when sprayed over the lengths of the hair does not make the hair sticky, which is great. The product has to be applied to the lengths of the hair and not to the scalp. The product, if applied to the scalp makes it a little oily if you have oily scalp. The product does add volume to the hair by lifting it up and this makes the buns look a little bigger. The product doesn’t add immense volume and you need some backcombing for bigger buns. The product can also be used to fix the bun in place. It makes the buns last longer and doesn’t allow the hair to come off.

My buns usually get sloppy after a few hours and due to which the buns on my head do stoop down due to the pulling off the hair. This spray helps it to keep it in place. It also helps in keeping the bun in the same shape as it was first made. I feel this spray is much superior to a fixing spray when it comes to bun. You can also use the spray to fix any fly aways near the bun, but you need to make sure that it is only little or else you can end up with an oily scalp.

The smell of roses makes you feel fresh the whole day. The spray keeps the bun for around 8 hours in place which is very good. You can use this for messy, big, sleek or half buns. The option is endless. I am looking forward to create a lot of bun looks with this spray. The product doesn’t contain silicones, but it does contain SLS. Overall, I like this product. It doesn’t add any shine nor does it have any moisturizing properties, but it is great for volume and fixing the buns as claimed.

Pros of L’Oréal Paris Stylista Bun Gel Spray:

  • Amazing rose fragrance which lasts long.
  • Adds volume to the hair to create bigger buns.
  • Keeps the bun in place for around 8 hours.
  • No silicones.
  • Fixes frizz near the bun.
  • Doesn’t make the bun sag down.

Cons of L’Oréal Paris Stylista Bun Gel Spray:

  • Can make scalp oily.
  • Expensive.
  • No moisturizing properties.
  • Contains SLS.

IMBB Rating: 4/5
