L’Oreal Paris has recently come up with their “Tint Caresse” range. I have already reviewed the shade “Peach Blossom.” Today, I am going to review L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse in the shade “Rose Blossom.” Read on for more details on this shade:

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Tint Caresse Rose Blossom:

Let’s begin with packaging of the product as I am head-over-heels in love with the packaging of this product. L’Oreal Paris always make classy packaging. The lipstick comes in a long cylindrical tube with ombre effect colors on it. The base of the tube is color coded according to the respective shade while the top part has a nice mirror finish. It comes wrapped up in a cellophane paper, which bears entire product related information on it. There is regular screw on cap, which closes pretty securely. The shade name is mentioned at the base of the lipstick tube. The lipstick comes with a soft foam applicator with a pointed tip. The sharp pointed tip helps to define the lips nicely. The actual lipstick comes placed inside the cap attached with a spring. So, when the cap pushes it towards the applicator while closing the applicator picks up the product for next use. Overall, the packaging is beautiful, sleek, innovative and travel friendly as well.

“Rose Blossom” is a beautiful light rosy red kind of shade. The color is subtle and great for everyday use. It looks lovely on the lips and instantly brightens up the face. The color does not look too bright or over the top. It suits my skin tone very well. The color is just so beautiful and can be worn at any time of the day. There is no sheen or shimmer and it almost settles down to a powdery matte finish.

The shade is decently pigmented and it requires two-three swipes to show up the color properly. Since, this is a lip tint, we cannot really expect high opaque coverage. Still, it is capable of hiding mild lip pigmentation but it could not hide highly pigmented lips. The color is easily buildable. It has a mild fruity fragrance, which is very sweet, refreshing and non-bothering at the same time.

The formula is actually very unique and I have never came across any such formula. The texture is incredibly soft, smooth, and kind of powdery. It glides on the lips like a dream and does not cause any tug or pull. It goes on so smoothly on the lips. It feels super comfortable and ultra-light on the lips. It almost feels like nothing on the lips. I really love the powder matte finish of this lipstick. The formula is not drying at all. My lips stay kind of hydrated with this lipstick on my lips, but prepping the lips well is advisable. The brand claims it to be multi-purpose product.

It can be used as a lip color, cheek color and a lip tint as well. I love using it as a cheek color more often as it is very easy to blend and gives a soft natural flush of color to the cheeks, but I have not used it as an eyeshadow, so I cannot really comment on that. The color is waterproof and smudge-proof. It does not budge at all. It never settles into the fine lines of the lips. It looks even on the lips and never gets patchy. The formula is transfer-proof upto a great extent.

The lasting power is impressive as well. It lasts on my lips for 5 hours approximately with constant sipping of water. It may survive little snacking with mild fading but it gets removed completely from the center after a full heavy meal. Once, the color goes away, it settles into the fine lines of the lips. It is really easy to remove. It gets removed easily without leaving any tint behind.
