Not many of us are gifted with the skin we crave for, simply flawless. I fall prey to all sorts of advertisements claiming to give supple soft skin, I crave for soft hydrated supple skin. Once, I was wandering around exploring my neighborhood in Europe and I found this gel creme and I am very happy to have picked it up..See how it worked for me here.

Claims:

Every day the skin loses hydration, minerals and essential vitamins. When dehydrated, the skin is more tired-looking and less resilient. Consequently, the skin appears less radiant, its surface dry and rough.InnovationThe L’Oréal Laboratories create Hydrafresh Active Day Moisturiser, designed for 24 hour hydration. The melting formula contains essential minerals – calcium and magnesium- and Vitamins C, E and B5. It provides an ideal dose of moisture to leave skin feeling perfectly hydrated, fresh and comfortable throughout the day.ActionHydrafresh Active Day helps maintain an optimum level of water in the skin by locking in hydration. The vitamin-mineral formula intensely moisturises, refreshes and reinvigorates the skin.

How to use:

Apply daily to face and neck. This cream is specifically designed to meet the needs of normal and combination skin.

I bought it in Netherlands at a discounted price of 6.99 Euros for 50ml . In India, it would cost around Rs. 1099.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Triple Active Fresh Ultra-Hydrating Gel-Cream

L’Oreal is one of the most trusted brands and when I bought this product, I had high expectations and it did meet most of them. I have  combination skin and this product is meant for normal and combination skin. There are variants available for the other skin types too. It comes in a glass tub and an off-white lid tight enough to make the product travel-friendly. It is gel creme with a musky citrus scent and the product is light sea green in color.

This is my second tub and the first one lasted for around 4-5 months with me as a little product is enough and I use it only for my face. As for my neck, I use other products. The product meets almost all the claims as the company states. My skin is sensitive to new products and I always test and buy them but fortunately this didn’t cause any breakouts/redness on me. The skin feels nice,supple and smooth after the application and leaves a dewy look on the face and this freshness lasted for around 7-8 hours.I also noticed my pimple marks fading away.

This product is not suitable  for all the year round. The temperature is dropping now and living  in a place where temperatures can go lesser than 5 degrees, I have seen that it does not provide the moisturization needed, I find my skin peeling near my nose which usually happens in winters. Hence, I have to use a different cream in winters. So as long as you have normal-combination skin and do not face much winter, do try this creme.

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Triple Active Fresh Ultra-Hydrating Gel-Cream;

• Meets the claims as mentioned.
• Hydrates the skin and makes the skin even-toned, soft and supple.
• The vitamins and minerals present reduce the acne marks and there have been no breakouts so far.
• Can be used as a base for makeup( I use MAC studio fix and the product stays longer than any other creams used as a base).
• Good fragrance and travel-friendly.
• Changes can be noticed within 2 weeks of usage.
• Product tub lasts long enough.
• The product is not heavy and is easily absorbed without any residue.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Triple Active Fresh Ultra-Hydrating Gel-Cream:

Not suitable for winters, the moisturization is not enough in the winters for combination or dry skin.

Would I repurchase L’Oreal Paris Triple Active Fresh Ultra-Hydrating Gel-Cream?

Yes for sure, this is a blissful product and a regular part of  my beauty shopping.
