My Experience with L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator – Rose:
Packaging: The L’Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator comes in a square shaped compact case with a beautiful rose gold border, depicting the shade “rose”. The pan is very handy; the cap closes tightly with a click, making it a travel-friendly product. The pan is a see-through one, so it is easy to spot the shades from the makeup stash. Also, considering the quantity, the product is decently priced.
Shade: The “Rose” palette has four different shades; two shades are light silvery beige colors while the other two shades are light and dark rose gold colors. I blend them all and apply it on my skin. They can be applied individually also, but mixing them together gives a better glow for sure. The shade gives a beautiful silvery pinkish glow to the face which will look great on all the skin tones.
Texture and results: The texture is powdery but, it is very finely-milled, which is why it does not appear chalky on my skin. The powder glides very smoothly on my skin and blends effortlessly. It gives my face a very healthy and a natural looking glow. It can either be applied on the focal points or on the entire face too. The illuminator provides a celebrity like glow to my face, which I love. It is one of the best powder illuminators that I have ever used.
Staying power: The staying power of the illuminator is around 4-5 hours, which is decent enough for a drugstore product. It will stay even more if applied over a foundation and sealed with a makeup setting spray. However, the glitters look chunky after a couple of hours but, they don’t look gaudy on the skin.
