Highlighters are so much in trend these days and I am really excited to try all the new ones. I have used a lot of powdered highlighters and now want to indulge in liquid highlighters. I have already tried one from Faces and now I wanted to try something bigger, so I got this a few months back from L’Oreal! See how this worked for my skin in the current weather.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris True Match Rose Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator:
Packaging: The L’Oreal illuminator comes in a very pretty sleek inverted tube. The tube looks fat but is flat on the other hand which makes it very easy to carry during travelling. It has a rose gold body which shines with a glossy rose gold cap making it look gorgeous. It has a little nozzle which lets out only a very little amount of illuminator. This range has 3 shades; I picked rose gold one and the other two are ‘Icy’ and ‘Gold’. I loved how they added 3 all-together very different shades of illuminators so that each one can pick according to their needs and complexion. The pricing is very nice and it is from a good brand, so that is cool.
Shade, consistency and feel on the skin: The shade “Rose Gold” is a very pretty warm rose gold colour which is absolutely true to its name. It looks very intense initially but it has to be blended for a wearable look. I love this particular shade since it will suit all skin-tones and give a nice pinkish glow. It warms up the face totally! The consistency is thick but when blended, it is extra-smooth. It blends very nicely on my skin and an even layer is created which looks great. It does not irritate my skin; in-fact I cannot feel anything on my skin which is great.
Results: The gorgeous illuminator gives my face an amazing glow with added warmth. My skin gets transformed in seconds. This surely gives me that glow like a celebrity which is very much needed for the upcoming festive season. This can be a perfect product for every-day glow and to wear on special occasions too. This can either be used alone or with the foundation for an all-over glow. It brightens up the face and shines amazingly. It does not let oil come on my face since this stays for more than 5 hours. The shimmers in it look really nice which enhances the glow but they become very much visible after a while. Also, dry skinned beauties will have to properly prep up their face since it will accentuate dry patches. It is a very nice product which stays true to all its claims, so you can get it if you are looking for something for everyday use.

• Tested on animals.
• It accentuates dry patches.
• The shimmers look quite visible after a while.
• Gets a bit difficult to use over a foundation.

Will I Repurchase/Recommend L’Oreal Paris True Match Rose Lumi Liquid Glow Illuminator?
No! I like the highlighters or illuminators from Makeup Revolution or MUA more, so I will buy them instead. This is a decent one but I have tried better ones.
Conclusion: Hunting for more rose-gold highlighters as the craze has totally increased for this colour.
