The L’Oreal UV Perfect is available in three variants :
• Even complexion – Beige Tint.

I got the anti-dullness purple tint formula. I checked the even complexion, beige tint too at the L’Oreal counter and liked it. It was lightly tinted and when I blended it on my hand, it gave a slight glow too. If you are looking for a TM with sunscreen, you can give that a try.

The UV base/sunscreen comes in sleek, rectangle shaped, white-colored plastic bottle with a narrow point tip, nozzle-like dispenser on top. The packaging is simple and very travel friendly. It reminds me a lot of Maybelline’s UV base. Its just slightly longer than the Maybelline one.

My Verdict on L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Longlasting UVA/UVB Protector SPF 50 Anti-Dullness:
I have this purple/lavender primer from NYX which works on adding some glow and improves dullness on face. So, when I saw this anti-dullness purple tint UV Base at the L’Oreal counter, I could very well relate with it. I swatched it on my hand and I did saw a slight glow. So, I bought this UV Base; keeping in mind the ongoing winters, for which I prefer slightly dewy finish over matte.
The sunscreen has a very light purple/lavender tint if you observe it carefully (and not some dark purple which you will be scared to apply on your face 😀 ) Still, if you are skeptical about using it, you can try its other variants like even complexion one or transparent skin. I would personally like to try the even complexion-beige tint one.
The texture is light and blends easily in the skin. Unlike a cream, you don’t need to massage this into your skin, just need to apply a thin layer of it.
Its consistency is light and fluid like, though not very runny.
On immediate application, I do notice a slight glow on my face which I like. The glow stays for like 2-3 hours and gives a fresh face appearance. I also like the fact that unlike most sunscreens, it does not leave behind a whitish cast. Another thing which I liked about it is that it slightly smooths out the skin and I noticed my foundation applied/blended easily over this. Though I could not find silicones in the ingredients list and also the effect is not as good as a primer, but still, I could make out some difference.
It carries some fragrance, which is mild but slightly chemical-ish, I guess most of the sunscreens have this typical fragrance.
Overall, I find this L’Oreal UV perfect base good and I have been using this for a while now. I will definitely repurchase and try out other variations.

- The price is a little steep for the 30 ml quantity.
- If you have extremely oily skin, you may not like this.
- Contains parabens.

i absolutely adore this and the tinted version.. Its a perfect sunscreen… but it wont last for 20 days, tht y i shifted back to my HG sunscreen Neutrogena.. bt i purchase it once in a while…

Hi nupur…. sadly this doesnt suit meduim to dark skin complexions. I got this a while ago. When I used it , it left a white film over my dark skin and after that it was left unused … :waaa:
