L’Oreal Paris White Perfect Purifying and Brightening Milky Foam

By Anurima Tikedar

So, finally I decided to write my first review for IMBB after following this blog religiously for last 4 years. Ah, sounds rocking and feels exciting as well. I am a crazy big skin care and makeup enthusiast and I never forget to read IMBB review before buying any skin care or makeup product. Today I will be reviewing a foaming face wash from L’Oreal which is a welcome gift from my sister when I returned home from hostel after completing masters.

Price

INR 389 for 100 grams.

What the company claims:

Excessive melanin production and external aggressions (UV exposure, oxidation..) saturate cells with dark pigments, leading to the appearance of dark spots and yellowish skin tone. Gradually skin looks dull and uneven. The L’Oreal expertise formulated with 2 powerful ingredients: TOURMALINE GEMSTONE AND VITAMIN CG, this purifying and brightening foam has a proven counter action on melanin synthesis. It brightens skin complexion by clearing all sorts of impurities, makeup, excess sebum, dirt due to pollution and removing excess dead cells at skin surface. Your skin is perfectly cleansed and prepared for the whitening care.

Visible results:
Immediately, this foam cleanses impurities and skin feels refreshed, extremely soft and comfortable. Day after day, skin looks brighter and more transparent, like freed from dullness.

Texture:
This ultra-soft milky foam lathers abundantly in contact with water and is easy to rinse off.
Usage:
Gently apply on the wet face and rinse off with water. Avoid eye contour.
It is dermatologically tested and best thing, tested on Asian skin.

My experience with L’Oreal Paris White Perfect Purifying and Brightening Milky Foam

First of all, I have fair to medium, sensitive, acne prone combination skin with oily t-zone and little dryness around my mouth and sides of nose. When it comes to skin care products, I am totally loyal to this French brand. I have been using this facial foam since last 24-25 days and I am truly impressed by its performance in hot and humid Kolkata summer. I use it thrice a day, in the morning immediately after waking up, in the evening before applying face packs and at night before hitting the bed. First I wet my face with plain water and then dot the foam all over my face and massage it gently with my fingers. Then I rinse it off with plain water. Immediately my face appears super clean, bright, and free from excess sebum and facial oil. All it does without ripping off the natural moisture of the skin. I have never felt any sign of uncomfortness or stretchiness. I just follow it up with some rose water toner and moisturizer and touchwood, my skin never felt so supple and hydrated before. This foam lathers extremely well and very less quantity is needed each time. So little goes a long way. Sometimes when I do a clean-up, I mix rose water with this foam and gently massage in circular motion for a little longer period of time followed by rinsing off with lukewarm water. It provides amazing results both ways. My skin is relatively well behaved these days with reduced break outs because I am staying in comfort of home and less exposure to sun and pollution and proper healthy diet. So I cannot comment on its effectiveness on acne and breakouts. It does not claim anything to do so! I cannot say how effective it is to remove stubborn waterproof makeups since I never forget to remove makeup with proper makeup removers. But still I believe it will easily remove light makeup like TM, BB creams, etc.
