Hi Friends, I am here to review a hair care product from one of my favourite brands L’oreal. I have used so many L’oreal hair care products and have been quite satisfied with them. I rebond my hair every year so my hair care products depend on which brand of straightening cream is used. There are so many brands for straightening creams like Loreal, Schwarzkopf, Matrix, Wella and so on. This time, L’oreal Xtenso was used on my hair, so the stylist suggested Loreal Liss Ultime shampoo and I bought it. I have been using it for 1 month now and here is my opinion about it.
First of all, let me introduce you to the Liss Ultime range from L’oreal.
What is Liss Ultime?
It is a complete salon system to smooth and nourish unmanageable, frizzy hair with Oil Incell, Polymer AR and Polytensium.
The Oil Incel Technology, featuring Argan Oil and Olive Oil, nourishes and restores discipline to unmanageable, frizzy hair.
The Polymer AR Technology includes a shielding polymer that provides humidity protection.
The Polytensium Technology leaves hair with intense shine and softnes and provides lasting, defined smoothness.
Liss Ultime Shampoo.
L’Oréal Professionnel Série Expert.
Smoothing shampoo for unmanageable hair.
About the Product:
It is the ultimate shampoo for frizzy, rebellious hair. Formulated with Oil Incell technology, which cleverly mimics the hair’s lost ceramides. This combined with the addition of highly nourishing argan and olive oils means that this shampoo leaves hair smoothed, conditioned and gleaming with health.
This incredible shampoo for dry hair will restore the softness to frizzy, difficult hair. It will add moisture and nourishment leaving your hair smooth and shiny.
For super smooth, luscious locks bursting with vitality and luster.
Directions/ How To Use:
Wet hair completely. Apply a small amount of Liss Ultime shampoo to your wet hair. Massage into your hair and scalp. Rinse thoroughly
The packaging is very neat but its is an opaque bottle, so you cannot see how much is left in it.There is no pump attached .
I bought the 250 ml bottle as I was purchasing this for the first time. It also comes in 500 ml and 1000ml both with a pump attached.
My Experience with L’oreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Shampoo:
I have always liked L’oreal products, but was disappointed with this one. This is meant to maintain my rebonded hair without drying it. It does not lather at all (though it does contain sodium laureth sulphate) and so I end up taking a lot of the product. I think it might work for people with thin hair, but I have really thick hair, so I did not like it as it does not give me a clean effect. I usually shampoo my hair twice a week and have not faced any problems of dry scalp with other shampoos that are meant for rebonded hair, but this shampoo has aggravated dandruff badly. In just two days after washing my hair, I can see flakes on the scalp. I never expected such a bad product from L’oreal, which is supposed to be the best in hair care.
I have used and reviewed so many L’oreal products here on IMBB, but hate this one completely. I hated it so much that I used and finished this bottle in just one month as I did not want to waste such an expensive product. Rs.425 for 1 month is too much I guess. The fragrance is decent but what are we going to do with the packaging and frangrance if the product is drying out the scalp.
I don’t know any pros of it so I am not including the pros and cons headings.
