L’Oreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Smoothing Treatment Review
I got my hair straightened last year. As usual, the “hair experts” there recommended some products (amounting to another 2000 rupees) and I bought them instantly in the excitement of the new treatment my hair had just got. I bought a shampoo, hair masque, serum, and this smoothing treatment from the “Liss Ultime” range.
Rs. 475 for 150 ml.
Nourishes, smoothes and helps to protect hair against humidity. Polymer AR: envelops the hair to help protect against humidity.
Directions For Use:
Spread 1-2 hazelnut-sized amounts of product in the hand. Apply section by section to shampooed, towel dried hair or dry hair. Do not rinse.
My Take on L’Oreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Smoothing Treatment:
Since the smoothing treatment is thick in consistency, it obviously couldn’t be in a pump dispenser (our favourite right?). So, the tube is just fine for that. With the flip flop cap, it gets easily dispensed into the hand on pressing the tube’s bottom. The light lavender colour tube is pretty. I like the smell of this too, has that professional salon smell. The product spreads easily on the palms. I take less than what is mentioned as I have dandruff and I am always apprehensive to apply conditioners, serums, etc.
So, I take a little of this and spread it into the lengths of hair. It spreads easily into the hair, but you have to be cautious as too much of this may make the hair look greasy. It should be strictly applied on the hair, not the scalp. I think that this product was not really required for my hair, especially after straightening them. So, this is a product which may work for curly, thick hair, which requires taming. I think this will tame and add shine to curly hair. Its not bad a product, just not for my hair. Girls who have long, thick or curly hair, should get this.
Pros of L’Oreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Smoothing Treatment:
- Pleasant smell.
- Thick consistency.
- There’s quite a lot of product in the tube.
- Not greasy if applied correctly.
Cons of L’Oreal Professionnel Liss Ultime Smoothing Treatment:
- May turn your hair greasy if you use a bit too much.
- Price is on the higher side.

I have curly hair, this one might suit my type of hair 🙂
It would be great to see you too Jomol.. *haan ji*
Why dont you do some OOTDs?? *powder* *pigtail*
BTW nice review Maria.. Might help you once the straightening is reversed..
The hair mask I was suggested was of no use during rebonding, but I use it as it really helps in post-rebonding to tame the frizzy hair..
Save it for then if u’ve got time in its expiry.. 😛
I will save it for till it lasts Amisha…thanks 😀
