I am back with another review from the L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert range. I have already reviewed the L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Nutrifier Shampoo on IMBB. I have recently coloured my hair and got very much hyped about my haircare routine as well (especially, after watching Sam’s haircare routine vide on the Rati Beauty app). On her recommendation, I got this serum to take care of my dry and coloured hair. Read on to know how this one fared out for me.

My Experience with L’Oreal Professionnel Serie Expert Liss Unlimited Double Serum:
Packaging:
The product comes in a beautiful dual-toned lavender bottle. It has a lavender cap as well. If you look closely at the packaging, you will see that the bottle is divided into two columns of opaque white and lavender. So, that’s why the volume says 2×15 mL instead of 30 mL.
Once you open the cap, you will see that the dispenser has two outlets (two small holes) – one for the opaque white column and one for the lavender coloured column. Now, I am not sure which one is which, but one column contains a keratinol complex and the other one contains kukuit nut oil and primrose oil. The keratinol complex is supposed to provide hydration, shine and smoothness to the hair.
The oil complex is meant for protection against humidity and therefore ‘anti-frizz’ action. The only complaint I have with this product is the pump. Sometimes. it dispenses product just from one column and therefore you need to press the pump a couple of times to get the products from both the columns. Thus, you end up with more product than you need. That’s the only complaint I have with the packaging, otherwise, it is quite handy and travel-friendly.
Consistency and Performance:
The consistency of the product is like a gel. One pump is enough for my mid-back length hair. The product glides very smoothly on towel-dried hair and feels like butter. It is instantly absorbed by the hair and doesn’t leave behind any residue. My hair feels smooth instantly and is easy to comb through. Thus, this serum helps a lot with detangling. The product has an amazing fragrance. It just feels like you are getting a luxurious hair treatment done at the salon. The fragrance doesn’t linger afterwards.
This serum is meant for dry and damaged hair. So, I apply it on my coloured hair after shampooing and conditioning. After my hair dries, I just fall in love with it. This serum makes your hair just like those shampoo commercials. It delivers on what it promises – anti-frizz, amazing shine and smoothness. My hair looks so healthy even though it has recently been coloured. In fact, my coloured and original hair have the same texture now, thanks to this serum.
It weighs down my hair a little bit but I don’t mind it because I have wavy hair and don’t mind a little toning down in the volume. I will not recommend this serum if you have thin and straight hair. The product claims to have the anti-frizz effect for up to 4 days and it delivers on it. The shine and the smoothness also last for 4 days. My hair normally becomes very dry and frizzy in humid conditions but this serum takes very good care of it.
Overall:
I love this product. Go and get it if you have dry and damaged wavy/curly hair. You will absolutely love it. Can’t thank Sam enough for this recommendation.

Yes, highly recommended for dry and damaged hair. It is not meant for thin and straight hair though.
