L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Spiral Splendour Nutri-Control Cream Review

Well today, it’s not really me reviewing this product; but my darling mum. My role was to properly frame the experience she narrated to me.

Techni Art is a range introduced by L’Oreal. They are styling products created by professionals, for professionals to fulfill all styling desires.

My mother has curly hair and I believe ladies with curly hair always have issues related to dry, frizzy and dull-looking hair. I and mum both have a common hair dresser from a salon. Last time when we visited the salon for a hair spa, my mother had complained to him about the dullness and dryness of her hair and how fed up she was of them. Just then, our hair dresser suggested here L’Oreal Tecni Art Splendour which is a cream for dry and curly hair. Read on to know the detailed review:

Price: Rs. 575/- for 150 ml

Shelf life: Almost 30 months.

Colour: It’s a white semi-liquid cream.

Smell: It has a pleasant fruity smell.

Application/How to use:

Apply the product evenly to shampooed and towel dried hair by rolling each lock of hair around your finger to accentuate the definition of curls. Allow to air dry or use a diffuser.

Claims:

Moisturizes and defines dry curls, leaving them soft, shiny and frizz-free. Add suppleness without weighing hair down.

My mother’s experience with L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Spiral Splendour Nutri-control Cream:

L’Oreal Tecni art Spiral splendour comes in a tube packing. It has Tecni Art written in a silver background which is eye catchy. The creams outflow follows a squeeze technique wherein at the end of the tube is the outflow hole. It’s a long tube, therefore requires quite some place in the bag.

She was extremely fed up of managing her frizzy and dull looking hair. She has tried way too many products related to frizz-control and curl-enhancing. She used many different serums but nothing really worked for her. Though she feels this product is a little better than the past ones, she’s not delighted with it. The content has a smooth texture which is a white semi-liquid cream. It smells heavenly when she applies it after her shower. The entire room smells sweet and pleasant for some time later. This cream gives her hair a nice glow and shiny look. She said her hair feels softer for a while after its application. She uses a wide tooth comb to comb her hair later. She feels her hair are detangled, which gradually decreases the hair fall rate. A little quantity goes a long way. It doesn’t require a heap of cream to be applied. Though the effect of the cream isn’t too long, but stays on for a day or so.

With all the pros also come a few cons. What she doesn’t like about this product is that it’s time-consuming to apply the cream section-wise. When she is in a hurry, she often wants to skip applying the cream. Also, she feels that this cream makes her dry hair way too oily. Other than that, she is satisfied with the product at the moment.

• Most of the information provided on the packing.

 

Cons of L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Spiral Splendour Nutri-control Cream:

• Application is time-consuming
• Stay power isn’t that long
• Hair feels a little oily
• Doesn’t stand true on its claim of enhancing curls
• Due to large tube, not very travel-friendly
• A little on the pricey side.

Would my mom repurchase L’Oreal Professionnel Tecni Art Spiral Splendour Nutri-control Cream?

She said she wouldn’t quit her quest for a better product to enhance her curl and control frizz. Just in case she doesn’t find something better, yes; she will repurchase it.
