L’Oreal Serie Expert Absolut Repair Cellular Unifibrine Hair Serum Review

L’Oreal Serie Expert Absolut Repair Cellular Unifibrine Hair Serum

Hey ladies

As I told you in some of my previous posts that I have fine and dry hair so I am always in the search of something which will tame my hair and make them silk smooth and shiny. This is another product which I hoarded when I desperately wanted something for my hair.

Price: – Rs. 580

L'Oreal-Serie-Expert-Absolu

Packaging: – It comes in a transparent glass bottle with pump packaging. The pump has a plastic cap on it so there is no product spillage while travelling. Although the fear of glass bottle breaking if dropped is there!

Directions of use:

• Pump a pea size drop into your palms.
• Rub the serum between your palms and then run through your damp or dry hair.
• Apply from half way down the hair shaft to the end to allow for the serum to concentrate on the damaged ends and to prevent excess oils and grease to form at the scalp.
• For best results, use with the Absolut Repair range.

Product description:-

First-aid for split ends. This intensive serum is infused with Unifi brine, a smart complex of smoothing polymers. When applied, it’s instantly attracted to more damaged areas, where it helps to smooth and unify the hair’s surface. It protects against further damage by travelling along the hair shaft.

My take on L’Oreal Serie Expert Absolut Repair Cellular Unifibrine Hair Serum:

As I told you I have fine and dry hair. I am always on the lookout for products which make my hair look nourished and healthy. Of late I have developed a lot of split ends because of which I purchased this product because it says it is a first aid for split ends. I apply it after washing my hair when the hair is still a little damp so that they absorb the serum efficiently. It definitely makes my hair smoother and shinier. One particular thing I absolutely love about this is that it smells divine. If not anything then I will definitely keep purchasing this for its smell. It’s a bit thick than other serum in the market but it does not weigh down the hair.

I apply it on my split ends and some on the remaining hair as well. So basically it does what any good serum should do…makes hair smooth and shiny and leaves them smelling amazing. The smell does not for more than half an hour but I still love it. The claim about split ends is only partially true as it does not repair split ends. It just prevents them from occurring again. Obviously…split ends can only go away with regular cutting of hair and dietary changes like drinking enough water and eating healthy. Nothing can replace a healthy lifestyle.

Pros of L’Oreal Serie Expert Absolut Repair Cellular Unifibrine Hair Serum:

• Smells amazing
• Leaves hair smoother and soft. Also imparts a bit of shine to the hair.
• Hygienic pump packaging.
• Quantity will go a long way as you only require a pea size amount.
• Prevents appearance of split ends.
• Travel friendly!

Cons of L’Oreal Serie Expert Absolut Repair Cellular Unifibrine Hair Serum:

• Expensive!
• Doesn’t repair hair. Just makes them smoother and frizz free.

Overall, I like it a normal hair serum but then what’s the point of using a professional product when my matrix hair serum does the same job. Although I will repurchase it just for its smell.
