Hope you all are doing great. I took a mini break from reviewing stuff and each time I take a break I make sure that I come back with a lipstick review. Well this time is no exception, only that it is a gloss this time and I am in love with this. I have with me this lovely summer special shade from L’Oreal Shine Caresse in the shade Venus.

My experience with L’Oreal Shine Caresse Lip Color #600 Venus

I have been waiting since long to try this range and I was definitely missing out on something really nice. The packaging is luxurious and it is something you want to keep staring at. The color coding adds on to the smartness of the packaging. The shade name and number is mentioned on the top of the tube. The outer paper cartons mentions all details about the product.

The texture of the lip gloss is pure love. This is the most lightweight and non sticky lipgloss I have ever come across. These are the two “put off” factors for me in a lip gloss and I must admit this has surprised me pleasantly with the texture. The consistency is just right. It is neither too thick nor too runny and hence there is no bleeding or feathering whatsoever.

The color is coral pink in tube and swatch but comes off pretty sheer on my lips. This is like “my lips but glossier” kind of shade. I can top it on any matte lipstick to add to the oomph of the shade. The wand is one of its kind and applies the gloss like smooth butter on lips. People with very pigmented lips might require a lip concealer or a lip liner below to cover the pigmentation. I quite like how sheer and glossy it applies on my lips and this is going to be one of my summer favorites for sure.
