Product Description:
L’Oreal Makeup Designer/ Paris unveils a new line of lip gradation cushions infused with tints from the most refined blend of precious flowers – Blossom Tint Caresse. Nail the ombré trend on your lips using its expert applicator with soft cushion tip that lightly blends in the colour. The designer sponge tip is pointed at the end for precise application, ideal for shaping and smudging.

My Experience with L’Oreal Tint Caresse Lip Color Plum Blossom:

Let’s begin with packaging of the product as I am head-over-heels in love with the packaging of this product. The lipstick comes in a long cylindrical tube with ombre effect color on it. The base of the tube is color coded according to the respective shade while the top part has a nice mirror finish. It comes wrapped up in a cellophane paper, which bears some product-related information on it.

There is a long screw on cap rather then a click lock type cap. The cap fits pretty securely making it purse friendly. The tube is so sleek that it can fit in any clutch or pouch very easily. The shade name is mentioned at the base of the lipstick tube. The lipstick comes with a soft foam applicator having a pointed tip.

The sharp pointed tip helps to define the lips nicely. The actual lipstick comes placed inside the cap and has a spring attached to it. So, while closing the cap, the applicator is pushed towards the lipstick end and in this way the applicator picks up the products. Overall, the packaging is beautiful, innovative and travel friendly as well.

Loreal Tint Caresse Lip Color Plum Blossom

“Plum Blossom” is a beautiful reddish plum shade. The color is subtle and does not look too bold or over the top. It looks lovely on the lips. This shade will flatter all skin tones really well. This is a perfect “skin brightening” shade. The color is just so beautiful and can be worn at any time of the day. This shade adds glam to the entire look in no time. There is no sheen or shimmer in this lipstick and it almost settles down to a powdery matte finish. The formula is decently pigmented and requires two swipes to show up the color properly. It delivers close to opaque coverage to the lips and it is capable of hiding lip pigmentation very well.

The formula is actually very unique and I have never came across any such formula. The texture is incredibly soft and smooth. It glides on the lips like a dream and does not cause any tugging or pulling. It feel super comfortable on the lips. The formulation is so lightweight that it almost feels like nothing on the lips. I really love the powder matte finish of this lipstick. The formula is not drying at all but it is not moisturizing either. If you have a problem of dry lips, prepping the lips well is recommended. The brand claims it to be a multi-purpose product. It can be used as a lip color, cheek color and a lip tint as well.

I love using it as a cheek color as it is very easy to blend and gives a soft natural flush of color to the cheeks. The color is not really waterproof and fades away with sipping of water. The formula is definitely smudge-proof and does not budge at all. The formula does not transfer much, there is minimal transfer of color. But once the lipstick fades away from the lips after having meals, the color settles into the fine lines of the lips.

The lasting power is average. It lasts on my lips for 4-5 hours. It may survive little snacking with mild fading but it gets removed completely from the center after a full heavy meal. It gets removed easily without leaving any tint behind.

  1. Hey Palak,
I had my doubts when I was commenting above, seemed like your lip swatch, but got mislead by the reviewer’s name which was mentioned earlier as Jomol. Hope you both understand!!
