Lately, I have been so much into highlighting and contouring. I had been using the Josie Maran Concealer (which I have previously reviewed here) for highlighting and it had become my favorite until I ran into this product. The L’Oreal True Match Crayon Concealer has become a staple item in my highlighting and contouring process. Read on to see exactly how well it worked for me!
My Experience with L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer:
The L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer comes in a crayon form. The color I use is “fair/light.” The most convenient thing about this packaging is the crayon itself, it is easy to control the amount you want on your face without having to use a brush to get even application. Also, this crayon needs no sharpening because it’s retractable, so there is no wastage of product that you would usually have in the process of sharpening up a pencil. I really love the texture of this concealer. It is so creamy and smooth, therefore the application is super easy. Plus it claims to be “super-blendable” which I agree 100 percent! I usually use my fingers to blend it in and it works just fine. I rarely use a brush or sponge because my fingers always do the trick, but even a sponge will give you a flawless application.
My main use for this product is highlighting, not necessarily covering up any blemishes or such because this would be too light of a color for actually covering up anything else rather than highlighting. Though, I have to admit, I went out and bought another tube of this which matches my skin color more for covering up blemishes and such. I have to admit it covers all up pretty well, though I should mention that people with oily skin have to be super careful. I feel it can slip a little on the face with people with major oily skin. Though I am sure a little setting powder should fix the problem. I, personally, do not have a problem with that part because I have normal to combination skin.
Other than that, the coverage is super long lasting, I usually set it with a powder and it lasts me forever, no complaints about that. I mainly use it for my under eye area, my nose, forehead, and also above my eyebrows and it lasts me the entire time I have it on. I have even gone as far as just applying this concealer with powder and totally skipped foundation because it gave me the coverage needed, especially when I am in a hurry, this concealer and powder do the trick.
So to sum it all up – I am in love with this product and I am so glad I purchased this. This is one purchase which I am never going to regret. I love this more than the Josie Maran Argan Oil Concealer Crayon!
