L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Foundation – Beige Dore: Review, Swatch

Hey Girls! How have u been?

I personally don’t prefer doing heavy make-up. But a good foundation is a beauty product that I just cannot miss out on. My make up regimen is incomplete without a good quality foundation. Whether be it a wedding or a small birthday party, I love even skin tone & my mascara.

My skin Type: I have a combination skin, which tends to be a slight oily around the T-zone after a long day. My complexion could be termed as one tone lighter than wheatish.

My Experience with L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Foundation – Beige Dore:

The first time I applied this product to my face, I mixed it my Neutrogena sunscreen as I did not have a primer/moisturizer handy. I ended up with a white patchy face, leading to not-so-good comments from my friends. The next time I moisturized my face, and applied the foundation with my fingers all over the face. The result was- Matt, Natural looking face.

The SA told me that this foundation has micro shimmer particles that induce a subtle glow to the face. Thankfully, the shimmer is not visible to the naked eye on the face, neither in sunlight nor in dark. Overall I’m quite happy with the product. I just need to be extra careful with blending in the product or else it ends up looking patchy.

I’ve not yet tried applying it with a brush. The staying power is pretty good, it lasts the day. Also, it does not make my face oily/shiny/greasy. That’s one thing I totally love about it.

Cons of L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Foundation – Beige Dore:

  • It ends up looking patchy if not rubbed in nicely.

Final Verdict:

If you have extremely dry or oily skin, then it can be skipped. It gives a matt look to your face. Very little product is required to touch up the entire face and neck. To summarise it, I would say it’s a good product for combination skin beauties. But it can be avoided by dry- skinned ladies.

Have a great day ahead! 😀

L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable FoundationL’Oreal Paris True Match super blendable foundation come in about 12 flawless shades to choose from. I have a neutral skin tone and I have been using the shade N1 ivory since a very long time and it turned out perfect for my skin tone. Most of the Indian’s have neutral skin tones and N1 ivory perfectly matches the Indian skin tone. It is a great option for people with dry skin as it gives you a gorgeous natural looking glowing skin. It has spf 17 and is super blendable. You can apply the foundation in very little quantity as it blends well to give a smooth finish. It easily covers all the scars, blemishes and redness of your face and gives you a toned look. I absolutely love the foundation and I am sure you will too. It feels very natural and light on my skin. You don’t have to worry much as the foundation has a pump, which will avoid wastage of product and a transparent cap that covers the pump. However this isn’t apt for flash photography as this one comes with SPF. The foundation starts wearing off after 8 hours and for all those who prefer matte foundations this isn’t apt for you.- Sumera Fatima
